Among other current and in-progress initiatives, a portion of all sales is donated to local Southampton and New York charities.

I’ve never been greeted by such a rude hostess before in my life. My partner and I got seated and I had asked about the happy hour as it was stated on the website it was from 3-6, and she just no and offered no explanation and walked away. She then took out drink orders, my partner said she wanted a Diet Coke and before I even said anything she just walked away like I didn’t even exist. Her whole attitude just seems incredibly unwelcoming and left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. The food was alright, but it was nothing special. The schnitzel was very bland, and the fish sandwich was very doughy and kind of dry. The salad and the potato pancakes were pretty good though. Overall, due to the awful service and overall mediocre food, I would not recommend anyone to come here if they expect to have an enjoyable experience and my partner and I would never come back.

I started my meal with a Black & Tan and went for the pre-fixe menu. I chose the German Fried Mushrooms, Shippy’s Sauerbraten, and the Homemade German Chocolate Brownie A La Mode. I finished the night with a Guinness.
Bella was an amazing waitress! Even though she mentioned she was new to Shippy’s, her menu knowledge and kind attitude were really impressive, especially with my allergy request.
Overall, the whole dining experience was superb, just what I expect from Shippy’s.

Picked up the oat bowl that I called to order – did not come with any seasonal fruit or the maple syrup listed on the description. The fresh fruit was the reason I ordered this item. Servers were nice and it was nice inside, but the food wasn’t as it should be.

This is my first time here at Shippy’s restaurant and I must tell you, we had an awesome experience. We came down tonight to listen to the live music of Monica, and had an awesome dinner.
For starters, we had the lobster bisque soup (very creamy, buttery and full of sweet lobster that was so tender) and we split the wedge salad which was loaded with bacon, fried onions and blue cheese!
For dinner, my wife had the delicious veggie burger and I had the smash burger! Both were amazing!
The ambiance at shippy’s is truly amazing! The place is decorated so nicely with subway tiles on the wall and panels. There are booths to sit at or tables along an open wall. In the back of the restaurant, there are 2 oversized semicircle booths.
The place was great and I look forward to returning.

First time here since the renovation. Everything looks great! Food was very good too, my friend got the house salad and the ribeye and I got the potato pancakes wurst plate. Service was on point. Only thing that threw me off were the costumes the staff was wearing. Made it a little weird.

Came here a few years ago and we came back for the first since the revamp and were very pleased! They did a beautiful job updating the interior and brightening the atmosphere. The food was delicious and service was fast. They also do breakfast during the week and brunch on the weekend. Will definitely be back soon!

We eat at Shippy’s quite frequently. Last night was wonderful. Christmas Eve dinner for 10 people. Everyone enjoyed their meal and mine was fabulous. Seabass, perfectly done and hoping they make that preparation either a daily special or an addition to the menu.
