The worst asada I’ve ever had. I asked for cilantro and onion but I only got diced tomato and sour cream SERIOUSLY WHAT! I normally don’t put up bad reviews if I don’t like it I ignore the place. BUT SERIOUSLY THIS WAS SO BAD I needed to put this up for people to know that’s it’s bad!!! FOR 15$ ITS JUST UNBELIEVABLE I’ve never been so disappointed. They took a while as well. Also I hate the self serve sauce bar with them all being cross contaminated with other sauces.

The Tacos Ahijado Truck on Twin Cities Rd on the east side of Hwy 99 is great! Open every day except for Sunday, I think. It is convenient, delicious and a quick place to stop for a bite to eat. The service is friendly, there are always people there, and the food is fairly priced. We got asada and pastor tacos, both had plentiful portions of meat and were very flavorful. The salsa isn’t very spicy, but I’m sure I could have asked for spicier. They come packaged on a plate covered with foil, so make sure not to put them on the passenger seat on the way home!
Galt is known for a plethora of Mexican food choices, but this one is solid! They also own the restaurant in the same parking lot, though I have yet to try it. We recommend it!!!

The food here is excellent, they say the best ones are usually a good drive. I live in Manteca and I stumbled here to get my a wife a burrito and she said it’s the best one yet. I had to come back and try their shrimp burrito and it did not disappoint at all. Highly recommended and worth the 40 min drive.

This is one of my favorite tacos trucks all across the south west- these guys are special. They have a good selection of carne, and each one is prepared well. All the carne is perfect, seasoned and prepared well. Plus, they grill the 2 tortilla’s and they are confident in their salsa enough to throw a splattering of it on the taco KNOWING that it’s a good match. It’s great! Asada, Carnitas, Adobada, and Chorizo (if you hit them towards the end of the day they might be out of that) are all delicious. If I’m driving from anywhere to anywhere on Highway 99, I’m going to swing by this truck.

First time here 9/10/2025 the service was awesome and the food is definitely better than the east coast Mexican food. I’ll recommend this restaurant to any one who’s looking for awesome Mexican food.
