My wife and I have been patrons of Dulany’s for years and we love the place! The food is great, drinks are done well, and the staff is amazing! Their pizza is phenomenal! Other fav dishes are the chicken spedini, chicken modega, and the Rueben. The staff is super friendly and always greet us with smiles and a hello! They are also very attentive. Jacqui at the bar makes (what I think is) the best Old Fashioned in STL. That alone is worth checking out!

Burgers were awesome! They didn’t have any pizza crusts ready but we will be back to try that next.

My wife and I ate here recently. My wife had the Dulaney Burger. I had the French Onion Burger. Both were delicious. Several months back we were on the search for a local non-chain restaurant/pub that was consistently good, with good service. We found that here. Also, we usually can get a seat w/o a wait.

I recently dined with a group, and we had an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with incredible warmth and attention. The ambiance was both inviting and charming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner.

The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the goat cheese burger—absolutely delicious! It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, making it a standout dish that I highly recommend.

Our host was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The entire staff contributed to a wonderful experience that felt personal and genuine.

If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy dinner with friends, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

This is usually one of my favorite restaurants. They have great Cod, but I wanted something different so I tried the steak. It was supposed to be a 30-day aged sirloin. This steak, which I ordered medium rare, came extremely rare. It looked over seared on the outside and literally mooing on the inside. I was going to send it back and have them cook it longer, but our waiter never made it back to the table until everyone was finished eating. I ate some of my wife’s fish, and I had the salad and baked potato, and all of that was very good, but the steak was a mess and for $26.00, I expect a lot more from dulaney’s. I feel like this restaurant is somehow confused on whether they want to be a restaurant or a local bar. That being said, I will always go back and eat their Cod it is delicious.

My hubby ordered the steak sandwich. There was 3 huge pieces of grisl and fat. But he said it was good and done like he liked. I ordered the chilli bowl. They brought me a cup at first. Took it back and they brought out a bowl of chilli. Not really hot.

This place has the best salad I have found in South county. My bartender Jacqui was perfectly pleasant. My only negative is that I can’t get ahold drink poured in the Tumbler they sell. I would buy the Tumbler if I could get my drink served in it.

Stopped in for a bite as we head south. Our first visit to Dulaney’s. We thought we would order a small appetizer to share, good thing we are sharing, this is hugh!

Our server is so happy and upbeat there is no way we cannot smile along with her.

Definitely a place we will revisit.

2/5/26 – Update.
As mentioned below, I knew this situation was one that would likely never happen to anyone else. My main goal here was to hear from management and as you see below this review, the manager did reach out. After discussing the situation, we decided to go back and I have to say that the experience was wonderful. My husbands pizza was so good, it was hard for him to stop eating it. I had the special of short rib ravioli in a marinara cream sauce. WOW! Very rich! So yummy! And they do a really good French onion soup too. I was not disappointed at all. We also tried the toasted artichoke hearts. Man! They were really good. My sister got the chicken club sandwich and chips. She really liked it too.
I guess the moral of the story is, I’m not on a diet, but I’m gonna visit my treadmill tomorrow. lol
Really, the food is great. But more important, the management actually cares if you have a good experience. Chrissy is great and we can’t wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu. They’re not lying. The Pizza is phenomenal!!!
I’m raising my overall rating to 5 stars and the Food, Service and Atmosphere ratings also went up to 5.
I highly recommend this place.
We will be going back often!

Dulany’s had been on our radar for some time and we finally got to go tonight. The place was busy, but we got seated fairly quickly. The reviews for this place were great, so I figured the food would make up for the crowded cramped atmosphere. We were very excited to try the food. I ordered the steak sandwich, another of our party order the mushroom swiss burger. My husband ordered a pizza. The waitress said that the pizza’s were taking around 35 minutes and we were fine with waiting. Pizza came out around 35 minutes later. WRONG. We sent it back. Mistakes happen. When that same waitress (not our own) brought out our sandwiches she said that our server would be over to tell us what would happen next. So we sat there. As the minutes ticked by and no one came over to tell us what was going on, the table got a little tense. Finally, after about 10 minutes of picking at my sandwich and not seeing the waitress, my husband decided he would go out to the vehicle and wait for us to get done. He didn’t want to sit at a table with people eating when he didn’t even know if he would be getting food.
After seeing our waitress go by and not make eye contact multiple times, I finally caught her eye and called her over. She smiled and said, ‘what do you need?’ Aghast, I said, ‘My husband never got his pizza’ and she said, ‘oh yeah, well I put the order in again and they moved it to the front, so it shouldn’t be too long’. I said, ‘But, the other waitress said you would come tell us what was going on’ To that, our waitress said, ‘Why didn’t SHE tell you?’ I couldn’t speak at that point. I quietly said ‘put the pizza in a box’. She took my husbands empty tea glass and walked away. She came back with a full glass of tea. I said, “He’s not coming back!” I don’t think I yelled it. I wanted to, but I don’t think I did. She just said, Oh, OK.
When she brought the pizza, it was in a box. We packed up the sandwiches we didn’t eat, paid the bill and left. I didn’t really want to take the sandwiches. Our evening had been ruined by then and neither of us could eat them.
I don’t know if we will ever come back. I really doubt it. When a waitress can’t face her customer and tell them there was a problem but it is being fixed, well, I don’t know, I think I’ve just lost faith.
I can review the few bites I took of my steak sandwich, and it was had a lot of gristle that threatened to take all the meat off the sandwich in one bite. Needless to say, I didn’t have the fight in me to battle the sandwich, so I stopped eating it.
This is one of those Fluke reviews. I’m sure that it is not always like this. But it happened.
Even knowing how mad I was, there was no offer to talk to the manager. My hope is that the manager reads the reviews.
