My wife grew up in Greensburg and has always loved Pizza King, so this has become a go-to option when we visit family. To be honest, I wouldn’t rate it so highly if not for that personal history. The pizza is pretty good but way more expensive than most places. They use crumbled pepperoni and sausage, which is somewhat unique. The sauce is on the sweet side. In the most recent visit, I ordered a Chef Salad, which was mostly chunky iceberg lettuce. Not great at all! The atmosphere hadn’t changed much over time, which sort of takes you back when you enter the dining area.
You might love it. You might hate it. We like it a lot but I could absolutely understand why you might rate it MUCH lower.

This is my favorite place for pizza in Greensburg. The best pizza ever. I’ve been eating here soft nearly 40 years. It’s always consistently great.

Their plain cheese pizza sucks. Like it’s worse than frozen pizza. On the other hand if you get toppings it gets a lot better. It’s also really expensive. I can understand it being more expensive than dominos or papa johns, but some are $30-$35. Overall not worth it

Friendly place. Wasn’t sure what to expect. This was a stopover trip. PK was recommended by our hotel. I was a little lost when I walked in. Didn’t realize you order at the counter and then go sit down. I had to apologize because I didn’t know what I was doing! Pizza was good, salad was good. Fountain Diet Pepsi has the perfect amount of carbonation. Clean, good value. Would recommend.

Ordered over the phone a 14 inch with sausage; totally $20
When I arrived I was salivating for this pizza. It had been so long since I had pizza king.
Walking in the place appeared clean. The woman behind the counter was quick. When I paid she took $1 out of the till. Might have been a credit card fee or tip or had nothing to do with me.
The sign in the lobby mentions tacos, spaghetti etc… only a few days with pizza specials. Is this place a pizza king or a taco/Italian place disguised as a pizza king.
We asked for the pizza to be crispy but not burnt. Opening the box we are met with what appears to be an amazing box of pizza until we reach for a slice and learn it isn’t cut. Ugh!
Once we got the slices out; I discovered the pizza isn’t the traditional pizza king crust; it’s thick and as we continue eating found raw dough. The outside edges were okay…
It didn’t taste like pizza king, the salt wasn’t the right consistency. The sauce also was bland even though pizza king uses paste this sauce was off.
The cheese was super good and stringy. The sausage was over bearing but also okay.
It’s disappointing to think a pizza king is so close to home and yet the pizza is only “close” to being pizza king but isn’t pizza king flavor.
