Thaicoon is by FAR the BEST Thai food in all PBC. In fact I’ve never had better. Anytime we try another restaurant we are disappointed! The chicken is perfectly tenderized. Noodles are flavorful, curry is creamy, vegetables are cooked perfectly. We try to eat here at least once a week if not every other!! The chef is a sweet lady and from what I understand nobody else controls her authentic Thai kitchen!! We like the chicken pad Thai, drunken noodles and green curry the best!!

I hadn’t been here for several years but wanted some Thai food and thought of this place. It was a Tuesday night so I didn’t expect a crowd but at 6:00 pm there was only one patron. After being seated I noticed a bad sewage-like odor. I actually noticed an odd odor when we walked in but this was bad. After a few minutes it kind of dissipated. A few other patrons came in but it was nothing like I remember when I had to wait for a table.
Service was fast and our server very nice and pleasant. Spring rolls were good but we weren’t happy with the entrees. My green curry with tofu was very watered down as was my sister’s sweet and sour chicken. I had very few vegetables and way too much tofu while my sister felt there was hardly any chicken.
Overall it was just barely okay, but I won’t be back again. There are too many other much better Thai places. Not sure what happened to this place but I was disappointed.

The atmosphere was very relaxing, music was very soothing. The food was amazing if you ordered spicy be careful a 2 was a little hot. The service was good I give it .

I went here about 6 months ago and the portions were decent. I went back tonight and ordered my usual Pa Nang Curry and Pad Thai. It was so small I couldn’t believe it. Easily cut the portions size in half. The Thai tea was also incredibly small and filled with ice. There was also someone arguing in the kitchen.

Love Thaicoon. The food is amazing. It’s the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Tip when you order if you’re super hungry. Order an appetizer, and the food will take some time. But trust me, it’s worth the wait. The restaurant is one of my favorites to go to. We eat here quite often. Also, shout out to Yasmi. He is always so friendly and attentive keeping our drinks full.

The restaurant is spacious, quiet, and has a very comfortable atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly, nice, attentive, and overall excellent. The food was great. We got the Crispy Spring Rolls as our appetizer. They were very fresh, hot, crispy, and delicious. For our entrees we got Panang Curry with Chicken and the Thaicoon Sizzling Platter with Pork. I also got a Thai Tea which was perfection.
The Panang Curry was really delicious and creamy. Excellent flavor and perfect spice level at 2 (I didn’t feel like going crazy). However, it came with only the chicken and a handful of sliced red bell peppers on top that felt like a garnish. To be fair the menu did not say there were suppose to be vegetables in it but every other restaurant I’ve gone to makes the dish with more vegetables. There is an option to add vegetables so I may try that next time. I wanted to get the curry with brown rice but they were out of it. We had arrived shortly after they opened for dinner so it was a bit disappointing to hear they were out of things.
I will note, the Thaicoon Sizzling Platter felt very much like a curry dish with the yellow curry in it. If you want another curry option besides Green, Red, and Panang, consider this dish.
Overall we had a very good time and I look forward to dining in or stopping by for takeout in the future.

Last night was the second time I’ve been there in a week. Monday was the first time and there was a sign on the door lunch time wasn’t available, dinner would be served. Worse than usual last night was a birthday celebration. The sign said they were closed due to staffing problems
I’ve been coming there since the early 90s. Please get it together before you loose all of your customers

Great family lunch after good time in Sun! Loved the food, everything was very very Thai. Tried Tom Yum, Garlic and Blackpepper Chicken. Great portion sizes. Priced reasonably and nice cozy ambiance. Will come back.

OK I’ve replace my previous 1 star review where the wheels came off a year ago in the kitchen after they reopened. I took the family back to see if it improved and it’s back on my list. Food was great and during the week it wasn’t too busy. A slight miss on service, but not too bad. Give it a try and see what if I’m saying jives with you.
