I appreciate supermarkets beginning to incorporate restaurants for the freshness factor. The prices here are more than modest given the portions. (Hint: I can get 2 meals out of them easily)

I love that they recently introduced the impossible burger here. While I’m not vegan, I needed to try what the hype was about. I’m happy to report back that this burger is worth the hype. It actually tastes like MEAT. That’s impressive.

Unfortunately, I can’t say the same holds true for the pad thai here. It’s hard when a restaurant trys to do too much with its menu. The chicken just wasn’t right and the proportions of cilantro to chicken to noodles to veggies were off. In their defense, they took it back and made me a new one, which I always appreciate. I don’t like doing that because I hate wasting food and don’t like affecting the chef.

The staff here is super friendly and were more than accommodating. Kudos for that.

As we were looking over the menu, we both had high hopes for our experience. We started off with an appetizer plate of poutine. The fries were old and crunchy and there was hardly any gravy. Wah wahh. We ordered the steak and then I was torn between a sandwich, the fish tacos and the pork chops. Our server (who was also the MOD) said, “no, don’t get the fish tacos. They’re not that good. ” Wow. Uhm. Ok. At his suggestion, I ended up with the pork chops. The VERY PETITE pork chops. They were ok, but lacked flavor. The steak was dried out, but the asparagus was very good. We wanted to give it a two, but when we said something to our server (the MOD) he took care of our beers and poutine and gave us gift cards to come back and try it again. So we will in time.

The food was good except for the fries that seemed warmed over and forgotten. We had a California burger, buffalo wings and chips and salsa/queso/guacamole. The ambiance was similar to a buffalo wild wings. The service was fair overall.

Ordered through door dash and only got half our order. Went to eat the salad that we did get and was met with brown lettuce and no dressing.

Always have great service and awesome drinks. Ben made me an awesome cucumber gimmlet off the menu. Very refreshing cocktail and friendly bartenders. Their happy hour is awesome as well.

The sushi experience in one word was wonderful followed with a best-ever and is now in first place for the best sushi in the Metro followed only by the service we received. Thank you!

We used to love this place back when they had servers, but tonight was a really poor experience. The place just has a very empty and disconnected feel to it with no human interaction. You order food outside of the restaurant, use a pop machine to fill your cup, and seat yourself.

I told the kid I wanted my burger plain with just cheese three times. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, and we wanted to start with a cheese curd appetizer.

Took awhile, and my burger came out loaded with everything, including a stick down the middle to hold it all in place. They brought our appetizer out AFTER our main plates. Not even exaggerating, almost all of the cheese curds were hollow!

We walked out and almost started laughing to each other as we both mentioned the pops being the only thing we enjoyed.

Second try for breakfast here. First, you order at a counter in the grocery store. But it was not staffed either time we ate here. Just when we were ready to give up, someone came out from the restaurant to take our order. We got our number tent and an empty coffee cup and looked for a table. Quite a few had not been bussed. Tried to get my selfserve coffee but it was empty. Once filled, it was barely lukewarm. There was a long wait for our food which was OK, except for the pancakes which were crispy on one side as if they had been reheated on a grill.

Pre-pandemic, this was a great place for breakfast. Now they don’t seem to care enough to properly staff the restaurant.

Almost totally self-serve – I didn’t like it at all. We’ve really enjoyed Market Grille in the past, but I do not like the direction that they’ve gone. Had to order at a counter beforehand, get our own drinks. Coffee was empty, no one asked if we wanted refills, we felt pretty abandoned. Bacon was cold. Very disappointed…

Overall, the food is great and staff friendly. Can only think of one time being there where the food wasn’t up to normal standards. The wings are probably better than anywhere around that area. Much better than Bdubs. Not a ton of options for sauces, but the wings are fabulous. Good selection of beer and they change with the seasons. Usually, good selection of dark beers during the fall and winter months. I’m there way too often!
