We really enjoyed dinner at Yamato Japanese Steak House. The dinner box was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. Everything was well prepared and beautifully presented.
The décor is great and gives the place a nice atmosphere, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. It felt relaxed but still special, the kind of place you enjoy sitting and taking your time.
Overall, a great dining experience and definitely somewhere we’d return to.

I love that this place is low key, it seems there’s usually about 3 or 4 other tables dining when I go, it’s clean. The service is great, super friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is great, try the sexy jalapeño (pic) it’s delicious, not spicy! Check it out!

The Hibachi rice is good, But they have the worst customer service in the world. There was a long brown straight hair in my friend’s food that we got picked up right before a flash flood today, and we’re black with curly hair, and they are refusing to refund the money and we just got hung up on for asking for a manager or for them to write our names down so we can get a refund if we are able to make it another day. Mind you, my friend lives in louisville and won’t be back over here. and THERE IS A FLOOD OUTSIDE, WHO IS DRIVING IN THIS WEATHER FOR A MISTAKE SOMEONE ELSE MADE. 0/10 NEVER COME HERE!!!! They are disgusting and the young dude at the counter is the rudest worker i’ve ever met counting fast food employees.

Enjoyed our dinner at Yamato. We’ve been meaning to try it for some time now and it did not disappoint! There food was delicious and was definitely something I wanted to try again. Enjoyed the interior, but wished there wasn’t American pop music playing (this does not affect my rating though).

Kadriannah made our dining experience SUCH a positive one! My aunt, uncle, and I are from out of town and just stopped in on a whim. We talked to several people out in the parking lot before going in, and all 3 agreed that this is a great place to eat, and they were right! The service is fast, the portion sizes are huge, the food is delicious, and the prices are right. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Kadriannah, chef, and staff! Big thumbs up for you!

Just ordered dinner for my family. 2 orders of steak and shrimp, the volcano roll, the friendship roll and Yamato roll. Idk who said the sushi here is good. It literally had no flavor. This sushi is nothing compared to Kansai. The fried rice was over cooked and mushy. The only thing decent was the lobster Rangoon. This was my first time ordering here since Kansai was closed and this will be my last. The actual steak and shrimp was good. The wasabi was dark green and the ginger wasn’t pink.
