Church’s Chicken in Bay City, and it was a decent experience overall. The fried chicken was flavorful and had that nice crispy coating, which is what you expect from a place like this. The spicy option had just the right kick!
However, I found the service to be a bit hit-or-miss. While the staff was friendly, there were moments when the wait times felt longer than necessary, especially during peak hours. The dining area could use a little more attention, as it seemed a bit cluttered during my visit.
The sides were good, particularly the mashed potatoes and biscuits, but I wish there were more variety offered.
Overall, Church’s Chicken delivers satisfying comfort food, but there’s room for improvement in service and cleanliness. I’d say it’s worth a visit if you’re craving fried chicken, but don’t go in expecting perfection!

I came in one Sunday around noon. I needed food for a family gathering. This place was extremely busy. I placed my order and told them of be back in 30 minutes to pick up. I came back and they were still busy. I want to commend the staff for not losing their cool. The manager was assisting in drive thru, up front and even dropping chicken into the fryer. I didn’t get his name but he remained pleasant under stress. He’s the real MVP.

I recently visited Bay City from Houston and decided to stop at Church’s Chicken. Ms. Cass was wonderful; she was friendly, funny, and informative. She let me know that the fresh chicken would come out of frier in just five minutes, and guess what? I waited! Everyone there was working incredibly hard, from the cooks to the cashier to the lobby cleaner. Although I might not return to Bay City, if I do, I will definitely stop at this Church’s Chicken again!

Worst experience every time I come here. I ordered a 12 piece dinner. They had no chicken and said that it would be 15 minutes. I said no problem. After 20 minutes they told me that it would be be 20 minutes more. People had been waiting 30 and 40 minutes and still had not received their orders. They were fulfilling the drive through orders. They are always out of stuff or don’t have enough. They do 1 thing! Chicken! Do better!

Long wait times because it just opened but the food was worth the wait! It was really good. One important note the toilet is way to close to the wall, making it hard for a big man like myself to use lol.

Church’s Chicken in Bay City, Not sure who is in charge but when we went into their, it was totally nasty long lines inside and in the drive through! They need to have the Health Department out there the woman’s bathroom so so nasty when I pulled on the door to go to the bathroom, it was nasty and greasy I smell of the oil and just everything it was slow at the time we went in but the line was ridiculous it seemed like the drive-through with going through the line and just waiting in the front and the guy was going in and out of the churches to serve their food we received our food before this one guy and he had been waiting 20 minutes before we had even come in what’s the forecast customer service I would never go back there cuz if you can’t keep the women’s bathroom clean I can only imagine the men’s bathroom it had roaches on the floor I didn’t even go to the bathroom when I got in there cuz it was so hard to open the door for women’s that’s how much Greece it was on there the door and if you don’t think that was bad I decided not to even go that’s how dirty it was the Greece just added to the smell and for the price is more expensive than KFC AND POPEYES! IT’S UNDER RAN ⭐I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANYONE IN THERE! IT’S VERY POOR!!

45 minutes… To receive a online order. 45 minutes, then extreme attitude from an employee named Tabitha because everybody in line wasn’t getting tended to and were getting impatient because they were all being ignored. People started leaving because of her. Then she walked away and hid in the back of the restaurant instead of helping the line that was still forming in the store. Thankfully the Older white gentleman was a huge help. Calm and cool. The other guy behind the counter cooking was enjoying running his mouth about customers as well. Seriously, if you can’t handle customer service, you’re working at a bad spot.

September 1st around 3:30, I was trying to place my order at the drive thru when the lady taking my order told me to hurry up. She wouldn’t stop talking long enough for me to place my order. There were no cars in front of or behind me. I told her that I would go somewhere else to get my food and she said that I should do that. I was not rude. I didn’t yell at her. I just left.

The attention was good but the way they act sometimes isn’t the best, plus ever since they open they had spicy chicken the first month and now a day they never have spicy eve when you order from the app they don’t even tell you if its regular or spicy.
