We placed a catering order from Fellini’s for Christmas Eve. We ordered a garden salad, broasted chicken, chicken Parmesan, and meat lasagna. The garden salad was supposed to come with two dressings. I had chosen Italian and ranch. There was only a single container of Italian dressing included with our order. The broasted chicken had a good flavor, but was extremely overdone and virtually inedible. The lasagna was like nothing I’ve ever seen. The description of lasagna on their regular menu says “ricotta and meat sauce layered and baked with mozzarella”. The picture of your lasagna on other google reviews looked delicious. I’m including a picture of what we received from Fellini’s with this review. There’s no sauce…neither on top nor between the layers. And if there’s any mozzarella cheese between the layers, we certainly couldn’t see it, and it was definitely not on top, as you can clearly see in the pictures. Our order did include a small container of sauce, but it was enough for **maybe** 3-4 people, and there was no mozzarella in the lasagna at all. It was absolutely awful. The chicken parmesan couldn’t even be properly defined as chicken parmesan. The top layer of breaded cutlets had ***some*** sauce and a small amount of mozzarella. But once the top pieces were taken, the bottom pieces were just breaded cutlets. No sauce. No cheese. And the chicken was overdone and dry. When I’ve had this in catering orders from other restaurants, there’s cheese and sauce on every layer/every piece. We honestly wondered if you had run out of sauce and mozzarella because it was virtually absent in our entire order. It was, quite literally, the worst catered food we’ve ever had…and I’m not being hyperbolic. If I could give them zero stars I would.

An old school classic. I don’t think I had been there since 1980 and we popped in on Valentine’s Day. Lucky to get a table on short notice. Each dish was really terrific very high-quality. The service was great. Looking forward to returning. I was eyeballing a pizza at the other table and I’m going to try that next because it looked terrific. It seemed most of the customers were regulars, creating a very friendly welcoming atmosphere. It hasn’t changed much and I say that in a good way.

my friends LORRAINE & MIKE turned us on awhile back to this restaurant on GOLF in MT. PROSPECT called FELLINIS…. we loved it. we took another couple there last month. i told my sisterinlaw who tried it and has eaten there 3 times already. we went back last night with our neighbors to share our “find” and they loved it. the food is delish. they had a singer of italian hits ROSS FAILA who can sing so great you think it actually SINATRA. the owner gave us a great table and even filled up our water mid-meal. its hidden in a shopping mall and it reminds me of how great restaurants used to be. the pricing is just not expensive and its a pleasure to come to the end of the meal and not have a huge bill. its so worth eating here. going to turn more of my friends onto this hidden gem and guarantee a fun evening. wish I could give it 6/5 stars; this is now my favorite Italian restaurant.
great food: eggplant stack was otherworldly, calamari was delicious, bread was fresh and warm and delicious, side salad was really good, chicken Milanese was crisp and light, sauce was so good, all the arugula on anything was the perfect, the tomatoes were so tomatoey, white pizza was decent.
great service and ambience: Atmosphere is very nice warm lighting and comfortable booths, and there’s great GREAT service (Sunday evening)

The food was mediocre at best. Sadly neither the waiter nor the owner (who we spoke to about when they opened) bothered to ask how our meal was. The veal parm tasted like cheap deep fried food. I couldn’t even taste the veal it was so thin I felt like I was eating sauce covered breading. I had ordered a to go dinner (when we placed our dinner order), forgot the pasta. I mean, there was only 2 things in the meal, how do you forget 1). Very disappointing.

Went in about two months ago after helping my brother move to Itasca. Found this place and it was AMAZING. The flavour was good and the portions were huge! I also really enjoyed the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant.

This place is a little gem. Authentic food that is delish. Our food was fantastic, authentic and great. Our waiter was great but some of the staff seemed a little off, kind of rude. The owner was making the rounds, visiting and what not. That was cool. The highlight was definitely the food. Joe’s Rigatoni, stuffed shells and spaghetti. Awesome food! And the prices were not bad either!

I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years and didn’t know the place existed. The pizza was thinner than I’m used to, but it was delicious, and I want more. Also, the restaurant was hopping and had a good vibe. I’ll be back to dine in for a good Italian meal.

Dry friendly atmosphere on Christmas Eve for a pickup. Food was hot and ready to go when I arrived. MIL appreciated she didn’t have to cook!
