New chicken spot so I had to check it out, looks like they replaced cm chicken. Stopped by for some food, left pleasantly full and happy. It’s a Korean chicken place with lots of options from wings, drumsticks, and boneless chicken and a pretty extensive menu of Korean eats/kfood, boba tea, ramen, sandwiches, and rice bowls. I usually stick to only the chicken at places like this cause that’s their main thing, so you know it has to be decent. Try the other things at your own adventure lol.
I’m a wing guy so I stopped by for that on my visit. They have a fair number of sauces, so I went with my usual Korean wing sauce option of soy garlic. The wings were good, crispy and juicy with good flavor. I’d say on par with bonchon/bb.q in terms of Korean chicken chains. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food and considering they make each batch to order. It was fresh and hot when it got to my table.
The service here was welcoming and fast. It’s an Asian spot so service can definitely be spotty. They are on a soft opening so it looks like they are still dialing in everything. The inside has plenty of seating, a basic fast casual set up. Parking was easy and plentiful. Overall I had a solid experience, the wings were good. I’ll have to come back to try the other menu items or just uber eats it lol.

Stopped in after having an appointment nearby and grabbed some lunch.
I got the soy garlic wings and plain fries. Flavor wise, the wings taste just like what we would get in Korea. The breading was a little bit thicker, but they were crunchy and juicy. The fries were great!
I also got a ramyun bowl from the wall/station. The store employee helped with the water dispenser and grabbed fresh toppings. She was kind and helpful.

Decided to try the newest restaurant within my shopping circle. Bloom Chicken, which I had never heard of before today. Took a long look at the menu before ordering my meal. The restaurant is bright, large tables with plenty of space for large groups. There is a bubble tea at the front of the restaurant, it’s not my thing but it appears to be very well stocked. I eventually landed on bulgogi sandwich with fries and Diet Coke. The lady behind the counter looked rather disinterested in helping me, had her AirPod in her ear so I’m not really sure I was getting her full attention. As I walked around, I noticed there was a soda fountain, which would have been nice to know before ordering a can soda. I told the lady that it was my first time, and you could hear crickets due to the deafening silence. No was given no additional information about the meals or specials or anything to be completely honest. After placing my order, I sat patiently waiting at the table for my food. After a few minutes my food was served. At first glance my meal didn’t look the same as it was presented on the menu picture. I can say that the best thing about my meal was the French fries. The sandwich was different, and maybe it would appeal to someone else. It didn’t appeal to me. After finishing up my meal, I didn’t know how to handle the dirty dishes. Do I leave them on the table or take them somewhere. I opted to empty the dishes at the trashcan, and place the plate inside of the plastic bucket bin next to the register. For the record, the restaurant was completely empty the entire time I was there, except for a customer that came in to pick up a to go order, and the lady customer went to the bathroom. For this to be a “soft” opening, I’m not sure it will continue for the grand opening. Having great customer service is key, and a menu to back it up. I felt that the Bloom Chicken experience truly was “meh.”

Disclaimer — we chose 2 different chicken options this time around.
First photo is from (this) alexandria location, second photo is from falls church location.
Had a pretty good experience at the Falls church location last November and wanted to come back to experience same, if not better. They had a lot of garnish and sauce unlike this location. Presentation and taste not the same quality.
Sign says soft opening, but reviews have images from 9+ months ago. May come back again in the future, idk man

The chicken was fresh and crunchy. Good portion compared to other Korean fried chicken places that I’ve been to. Will definitely come back.

I really hate to do this since I try to give korean fried chicken places grace. However, as a fried chicken lover, this place totally disappointed me. I wouldn’t consider the chicken to be korean styled. They poured sauce over without the care of presentation or taste (did not include toppings or drizzles). The texture of the chicken completely made me frustrated because other chicken places genuinely have better chicken and price for what I paid for. I believe my purchase wasn’t worth it. We also ordered boba, its not worth the money, just go to actual boba shops. Service on the other hand, ill give the benefit of the doubt since I came in at night but they did not provide any customer service despite us being the only customers in the store. I highly do not recommend this place as a korean fried chicken place to eat at, there are better places near or 15 mins away that are much better than this place. Honestly, the chicken reminded me of Popeyes, which isnt worth over $30. Definitely never coming back.

They food is tasty, but completely disappointed. The chicken looks absolutely nothing like how they have it advertised and there was barely any sauce on it! They forgot my radish, the pork and kimchi rice was salty. I would give them another chance, but most likely will go to another location.

I stopped in after seeing the soft opening sign and was blown away! I ordered the soy garlic wings, truffle fries, and pork dumplings—everything was absolutely delicious. The wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and the dumplings were so tasty.
They also offer daily lunch specials before 3 PM, which is a great deal.
Big shoutout to Grace for her excellent service—she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I love supporting new businesses, and Bloom Chicken is definitely one worth coming back to!

This place has to be a joke. Ordered the spicy chicken drumsticks 8pc and there was no sauce. The lady sounded high when I called and wouldn’t offer a solution

I called to the store and ordered honey garlic chicken wings. The person who answered phone asked me if I wanted to S, M or L. I asked how many pieces in the Small, she said it was 8 pcs. When I come to pick it up, she said it’s actually 7 you saw a different menu. Like what menu? I didn’t see any menu and the girl is really confused like she doesn’t know what is she doing.
