First time visiting the Peter Chang in Gaithersburg and it did not disappointed us with our entire experience.
Greeted us as soon we entered in the snowy Tuesday night.
Drinks were made to perfection.
Got a couple of dim sums and perfectly prepared. We got mixed of small plates and a fried rice. This is not a typical Chinese restaurant. Flavor and how they are prepared so good. So much flavor in fried eggplants, mixed fried rice, Mongolian beef. Popcorn chicken is one of the best we had.
Highly recommended place.

I love this place. I’ve gone 3 times in the past 2 months and can say they have become one of my fav Chinese joints to visit for some grub. My favs to order are the grandma’s braised pork belly, the chili oil pork wonton, and scallion pancake (this item is dine in only). Also had the full Peking duck and can recommend that too. Everything is delicious and the servers/crew are pretty nice. Glad to have them here.

Food is very good; service is good. Highly recommend the all-you-eat lunch menu. For $28 per person, you have over 40 different dishes to choose from, chicken, fish, shrimp, pork, beef, noodles, soups, stir fried rices, dumplings, buns etc etc.

Wow.. Amazing china’s food.. We started with the bubble cake, it was with a curry sauce. The crispy beet was sweet and super crispy. The popcorn chicken was sticky, but so delicious. Chicken fried rice. All of the food was seasoned well and tasted so delicious.
Lastly the service by Kevin was excellent. He treated us with great hospitality and professionalism. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Peter Chang never disappoints, and I’m glad to have one so close to home here in Gaithersburg. This is my second visit to this location, and just like the first time, everything was spectacular.
I came with my son to try their AYCE Dim Sum & Chinese Tapas lunch special ($26), available Monday–Friday from 11am to 3pm. Incredible deal! We enjoyed Pork Soup Dumplings, Chili Oil Pork & Shrimp Wontons, Oyster Sauce Tofu Skin Roll, Vegan Spicy Dan Dan Noodles, Szechuan Popcorn Chicken, Mama’s Braised Pork Belly, Sweet & Sour Flounder, and BBQ Pork Bao—all paired with a pot of Jasmine Tea.
For the price, the amount and variety you get is unbeatable. The food was excellent, service was attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. I’m very happy to have this restaurant nearby and will definitely be back.
Both visits have been for lunch and I’ve never needed a reservation, though I’m not sure if dinner might be different.

Went here for their weekday Chinese tapas unlimited option ($26 per person). Honestly, the food was better than expected and the service was great. They kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. If it hadn’t been a weekday, we would’ve ordered some beer to go with the food, so that part was a bit of a pity. Still, we really enjoyed it and will definitely come back again!

Met a friend for lunch on Friday and tried the AYCE Chinese Tapas. The restaurant is comfortable, service was very good even though they got quite busy, and the food was delicious. I have a new favorite and look forward to trying new to us items from their menu.

Been 2x now with reservations. The $28 Dim Sum/ Chinese Tapas menu is fantastic from M- F Lunch. Food is fresh & tasty.
Order 3/4 dishes at once. Halfway done, order another 3/4. Bring a nice bottle to enjoy. Wine corkage is $20.
A great Lunch treat!
Stellar dishes: hand pulled chili noodles, dry wok fried eggplant, Sautéed spicy cabbage, tofu with mushrooms, soup dumplings.
I can only say to take a day off, enjoy a 2 hour lunch and a long nap.

We really enjoyed our food! Service was quick and the menu has so many vegetarian options. Highly recommend the Mai tofu and the Dan Dan noodles. Their iced teas are also so refreshing!

Food and service was great! I ordered from the all you can eat Dim Sum menu at lunch. The only draw back was I had to pay an extra $10.00 on top of my $26.00 bill to get a small package for my leftovers.
