Incredibly cool coffee shop in the Coolest Small Town in America. Coffee choices were comprehensive and deliciously made. Cinnamon Honey latte was very sweet, chai tea latte was not sweet at all, just how I like them. Atmosphere was very relaxed on a sunny Friday morning. Front of the shop is all big glass windows, so lots of gorgeous light. Muffins are excellent, as mentioned elsewhere. Make sure you give this place a try when you’re near NRGNP.

This is the kind of coffee shop I dream about finding when I travel. Small yet comfortable with lots of natural lighting. A warm sense of community. Oh, and absolutely BANGER coffee. As someone who works in specialty coffee, it’s clear this shop is run by a coffee snob (positive) who cares about the details. A gem!! Perfect end to a fun trip in WV.

Having been to the other coffee shop right down the street earlier in the day, I expected Range Finder to be somewhat similar and I was pleasant surprised to be quite wrong. Both are great in their own way, but this is definitely more my speed.
The other shop (feels weird to say their name in a review for another place) was a nice breakfast spot with coffee close to what you’d expect at a cafe, but this was much more of a speciality coffee experience. Super cool vibe, nice and intimate location and size, and the coffee was great. I was confident I made the right call when I walked in and saw a Hario Switch and an AeroPress on the wall.
Highly recommend, especially if you have relatively high coffee standards!

Great coffee shop in WV’s coolest small town. The atmosphere is awesome! You could order a coffee, tea or locally made baked items and sit back to read a book or chat with some of the regulars. These guys must have a Ph.D. in brewing coffee. Why visit a chain with less quality beans when you can support a small business that only sources the finest coffee beans? I’d recommend a visit if you’re in Fayetteville.

Was in town with a friend of mine looking for some cool local coffee shops to check out. We found Rangefinder near one of the restaurants were going to eat at and we had a great experience here!
The Coffee itself was delicious, I got the cold brew and the cold cup of coffee really hit the spot. The coffee shop itself was really nice. Kept to the photography aesthetic with photographs and camera decor laying around. Nice place to relax and get some work done.
Service here was great as well. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The cortado was good. The barista seemed to take care in his presentation. Atmosphere has that great coffee shop vibe with low playing music in the background. Set it a small town street front location.

Best place for coffee in town. We always stop in while in the NRG. Good selection of drinks. Love the honey cinnamon latte.
Had some seating inside, but if they are busy, the space can get crowded.
If you are an espresso person, I highly recommend it.

Killer coffee shop with a sharp analog photography theme and a deep love of hip hop. Quality standard array of drinks and well balanced, interesting specialties. Staff are engaged and friendly.

Love this cozy little coffee shop! I had been hiking about in New River Gorge National Park for a few days and was in desperate need of caffeine, a warm beverage, and a cozy spot to sit and relax for a bit. Range Finder Coffee was just the spot — it’s a cozy enclave filled with plenty of natural light, great ambient music, and super friendly people (both customers and staff). I had a great conversation with the barista about my hikes and their recommendations on other areas to visit around West Virginia and swapped stories with several other hikers (some of whom also had their dogs!!).
The coffee was fantastic — super rich and aromatic, and everything I needed after trekking out in the woods for the last few days. The barista also recommended their pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, which was absolutely divine. It was packed with pumpkin and spices, so each cinnamon-y, nutmeg-y, ginger-y bite felt like I was taking a bite of fall. It was also loaded with chocolate chips — the muffin was probably about half muffin and half chocolate, which was delightful. The muffin itself wasn’t super sweet, so it helped to balance out the chocolate, and the combination was a perfect pairing with my latte.

My friend and I had the BEST service here on October 27th. The young man who served us was exceptionally kind. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The place was spotless and my matcha was made to perfection.
Don’t miss out on a great coffee shop experience if you visit Fayetteville!
