Today, I decided to give V3 another chance after being closed since COVID, and I have to admit… it is not the same restaurant. The pizza topping options have completely changed, and the dough isn’t the same at all. Honestly, it was equivalent to eating cardboard. The crust was so hard I had to throw it away.

They may have the V3 name on the building, but this is not V3. The entire vibe is different, and seeing a staff member wearing a Vocelli Pizza shirt should have been my sign to walk away instead of ordering.

Really disappointed. I was hoping for the V3 I used to love, but this was nothing like it.

The downtown location is FINALLY open! The opening was a good rollout (not sure if they had or will have had a “Grand Opening”) – staff working were friendly and fast. Gentleman upstairs even asked if I enjoyed my meal and wished me Happy Thanksgiving. So great service first off.

The pizza was pretty good – you fill out a card with what you want on your pizza (or order one from their menu), it’s prepared and goes through an electric oven, put in a box and cut up for you, and you top it off with seasonings / oil. The spicy arrabiata sauce did have a kick to it, and the cheeses were delicious. I would get another pizza from this location.

Awesome pizza. The line around lunch gets pretty long but moves quickly. There is additional seating upstairs. They only offer one special ($4) flatbread a day and they are listed on the wall when you walk in, that is not the menu. The menus are next to where you order.

While there are many made-to-order pizza shops, V3 is by far the best. The variety of toppings and the generous portions that are placed on your pizza really make V3 stand apart from the rest. Even when creating your own crazy version of a buttermilk ranch with garlic sauce drizzled on before the cheese is added is what makes this food so good. They have “healthy” options (gluten free, low-calorie veggies, etc) if you want to go that way, but since this is a treat for me when I go, I always forget about the healthy part and just bury the pizza with multiple toppings. A great thing about this place is that no matter how busy it may look, you are typically picking up your cooked pizza in about 15 minutes at the most. For those with limited lunch times, that difference is huge.

Great concept. Pretty much Subway but it’s flatbread pizza. They have some recipe suggestions or you can create your own (pick dough, sauce, cheese, toppings, finishers). It can get pretty busy at lunch but the staff and the oven are quick. Only complaint is that the pizza can sometimes be a bit overcooked for my liking. Good spot though.

First visit, and it was SO good!! We’ve seen many, many people in town “traveling” with their pizza boxes, so we knew it had to be! We chose “create your own” this time. Any and ALL ingredients are available for $8. The crust is thin, crunchy, and still a bit chewy. Hot, fresh and oh! so delicious! We’re going to keep a list of what we’ve tried, and keep trying new combinations! They also have their own creations that you can customize, if you’d like. This will definitely be a regular lunch destination!

I haven’t had an unsatisfactory pizza from this place yet! I tend to splurge for the chop shop pie and add banana peppers and roasted garlic. Finish with fresh basil, balsamic glaze, and chili oil. BOOM!

For all the people who are gluten free, hit this place up. Their gluten free crust looks amazing and I’ve heard great things.

Excellent pizza, prepared on the quick. Great toppings, and love that they have multigrain dough available. Menu has enough options that it might be intimidating, but the special combo pizzas are great, so you’ve got lots of pre-made combinations.

V3 is a pretty cool little place. I love the idea of pizza being like a Subway sandwich shop but it seems like they just don’t have enough hands-on deck at some of their busiest times. I am not sure if there is an order ahead option on an app, I will have to look into that further because if there was that option, I would most definitely use it and order from them more often. I only recently learned about this company from a coworker and Don’t get me wrong, their pizzas are amazing but as I said before really my only hang up is them not having enough staff ½ of the time. Also, if you are heat sensitive, It gets quite unbearable and humid while waiting 15 to 20 minutes for your pizza so, keep that in mind. I feel they could definitely get a lot more business if they opened up a second location in the downtown vicinity. If you enjoy pizza, you should definitely check them out! Just be prepare to wait if it’s during a busy lunch/dinner rush.

I have much love for this place ever since discovering it last summer.
I don’t know how to describe the experience of customizing your pizza at every step. I have never had so many options for sauce or cheese. And then the options to add AFTER your pizza is cooked!
The only complaint I have is that the ladies’ room is not well marked and the employees are not clear in telling you the pass code to get into the rest rooms. But that is not enough to stop me from going back again and again!
