Manantial Mexican restaurant serves some of the best Mexican food I’ve found in Tennessee (moved here from New Mexico). Ask for the house hot salsa if you want some genuine heat and good flavor. I had the chicken burrito – the meat was tender and tasty. My partner got the mojarra, a whole pan fried fish, which was so good it was quickly eaten down to a small pile of tiny bones. We finished the meal with a sugar and cinnamon dusted, honey and chocolate drizzled sopapilla. It was scrumptious!

The hotel recommended this place and the food was not very good. I got two burritos and they had no flavor. The frozen strawberry margarita tasted watered down, like it barely had any alcohol in it. Drive a little farther and get better food.

I usually don’t post a review when the food is just fair, but this was really poor and I hate to see people waste money. Recommended by the hotel owners, but we were so disappointed. Enchiladas had an awful sauce poured all over them, with stale corn tortillas and meat that had absolutely no flavor. Beef dish came with burnt, tough beef, no flavor and tasteless rice. Neither my husband or I finished our meals. The only bright part was our server; she was very nice and attentive.
