It’s a beautiful place, and they have good live music. We have gone there a couple of times to see bands. The bar seems pretty well stocked, but they don’t really have a lot of non-alcoholic beverages other than things like coffee/tea, or medicinal. There are not sodas or mineral water. I don’t really want a coffee when I go out to see a band in the evening, and I also don’t want something for my liver or spleen. Everything else about the place is just lovely, they have a very nice chill atmosphere. It’s mostly quiet except for the occasional train across the street. I would definitely go there again to see live music.

I saw “lots of couches” in someone’s review and that caught my attention. Passing through town and I needed a coffee, so glad I picked this spot. This is the vibe I’m always looking for! Fantastic Cortado, wonderful staff, and a full house makes for a great coffee stop!

I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to get out of the house and enjoy a cute, welcoming coffee shop. I love the London Fog tea. Definitely one of my favorites! ☕✨

Perfect! A comfortable and quiet place to enjoy a delicious drink, whether it’s a coffee or an Old Fashioned, accompanied by a homemade sandwich.

A hidden gem in old town Buda! I can’t say enough about how cute this spot is. The ambiance, the live music, the coffee. All really amazing. I got a regular latte and I can taste how pure and creamy the beans were. The local artists playing were talented. The crowd was calm and there to have a good time or work/study. There’s a bar and coffee area and next to it in another room is a herbal medicine bar and bakery with this library book styled seating area.
All in all this is my new favorite spot. As I walked out I noticed they also offer random community events such as “paint and sip” and decided I’ll sign up for that. I’ll be frequenting this spot for sure.
100% recommend visiting this unique coffee and share community space. It has an unforgettable charm.

The best coffee and cocktails anyone could ask for! Meridian has such an amazing menu coupled with spectacular events. Each member of the staff is absolutely fantastic at what they do. This is a must visit for anyone in or passing through Buda. Meridian is truly a gem, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Based on reviews I was prepared to love this popular establishment but after luke warm coffee and baristas with more attitude than customer service, the healthstore vibe coffee shop with vaulted ceilings in a historic building’s atmosphere is not enough to bring me back.
I ordered the fall special pumpkin latte and a drip coffee for my partner to consume in-house, they were both provided less than hot in to-go cups. My partner loves a hot cup of coffee so after tasting he asked if it could be heated a bit more. He stood and waited while his coffee was set aside, then tossed out, then replaced and set on the counter so firmly the contents splashed out of the lid. It again was not hot enough for him, and the second cup did not come as he ordered, and he would not allow me try with the ladies on his behalf a third time.
While the coffee bar does have a regular stream of customers, I won’t be one of them… and I think I will hold off on my 20% tip when paying in the future until after I have received the service

For $7.30 for a small vanilla chai latte I’d expect more flavor. My friend took a sip and said it tasted like milk. As someone that doesn’t drink coffee, this was dissappointing and expensive. Ordered to go and while waiting near the bar, which has stools to sit, the barista who didn’t take our order shoo’d us away saying it’d be a minute.
I asked if they had whip cream for my dog waiting outside, like a pup cup, and was told they didn’t have whip cream. Overall a disappointing visit, especially after hearing great things about Meridian. Wouldn’t recommend.

Meridian instantly lands in my Top.Coffee places rank – no doubt about it. This spot had been on my list for a while, but since it was out of the way, I hadn’t made it until now. We happened to be passing by, saw it was nearby, and decided to stop in. What a find.
I didn’t research its history beforehand, but once inside, you can feel the legacy of the place. It has a cult-like charm, an atmosphere that suggests it’s been around for something more than just coffee. The interior is incredible – huge vintage maps, antique furniture, and an old service elevator that seems frozen in time. The bar is well-stocked, and the whole space has a refined but effortlessly cool vibe.
What makes Meridian even more unique is that it shares its space with other interesting businesses like Teal House Bakery and a vintage clothing shop. Instead of competing, they create this synergistic mix that makes the whole place even better. This is how shared spaces should work.
It’s not just a coffee shop – it’s a destination. Perfect for breakfast, evening drinks, meetups, or even a date. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it.

We saw Will Reagan and friends while enjoying their unique herbal mocktails. It’s a lively venue for bands and I love the modern coffee house/saloon feel. Very high value for connection and quality conversations.
