When I say good Chinese food I mean good! I’m from DC, I’ve tried many places here and been disappointed time after time. It’s not a sit in and eat place but if you want good food this is it. Drove in from Clayton for it, IYKYK it’s an hour drive to Durham. Well worth it! Had chicken, mixed vegetables with pork fried rice. Sorry my plate is almost done.

Rude rude rude! The lady had an attitude for no reason. I came in there with a positive attitude and she was rolling her eyes and talking in an extremely condescending manner. I walked out. I refuse to spend my money at an establishment that does not respect the people on its community. Do better, China King!

The food is very good, especially the House Lomein and we drive 30 minutes to get it but won’t agin. They’re suppose to put x5 shrimp in the combo shrimp fried rice and General Tso’s chicken and it was only x3 pieces. The customer service is average. I will not give my money again to people who do things like that. I don’t mind paying for extra shrimp or beef when we order and would have if I’d know they were going to jerk me. They weren’t even courteous when questioned about it. I like their food but won’t be returning!!

I had to be frugal with the stars because I didn’t want to upset the scale. This place is awesome. The food was fresh and hot. Service was prompt and courteous.

My first visit. I checked the reviews before I walked inside period. I bought 2 Spring Rolls & Roasted Pork Fried Rice. The Rolls smelled good, ingredients looked fresh but mostly dough. Greasy. The fried rice with yellow rice had no taste for me. Bland. Added Soy sauce & Salt didn’t improve taste, no good. plentiful veggies. A black gentleman ordered before me, obvious cashier expected we’re a couple. He left. I tried to extend courtesy yet. she acted empty, uninterested. A Hispanic man & woman entered. Mother & Son perhaps. Cashier’s frown turned into smiles! Real talk. Historically, Latino’s spend more money. She encouraged large size portions….I looked her way letting her know I was aware of her change in attitude. And I thought at first this little hole in the wall that doesn’t look like much the food might actually be good. Nada!!!!! I had four bites sealed to back up put in the refrigerator didn’t even let it cool off. I can’t even think of what will make this rice taste better. It was just planned and greasy I mean greasy it was so greasy that the bag had grease spots. From her experiences with customers she seemed not to expect much of nothing from people of color. I’m glancing the 3 and I say to myself how dare she when they’re darker than I am. I won’t return. Not even for the Lunch Special $7.55.
