The menudo was garbage. I had to walk away from it. It smelled bad and looked absolutely dreary. They boil the menudo in water and they add the rest of the stuff at the end. No garlic or onion in the broth. The worst I’ve seen.

Honestly my favorite little place. Tiny with so much character. Service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious and fresh. Locally owned. Owners are so kind. Will definitely come back for food and conversation.

1st timer today 10-24-2019. Was recommended by my aunt and uncle. Good food. Fast service. Will return to try something different.

Menudo isn’t the greatest. Not as flavorful as other places. Also pretty pricey to be paying to go and not get a proper hot soup spoon to eat it. Spoon was small and almost melting.

I’ve given Casa Jimenez more than one chance, but after our most recent visit, we’re never going back. My daughter isn’t a fan of this place, so we decided to get her food from across the street before heading into Casa Jimenez. My husband stayed in the car to wait for us, but as we were about to get out, a lady on the phone started yelling at us, saying we couldn’t park there. We calmly and politely explained the situation, but she kept shouting and even threatened to call the police and have our car towed. It was incredibly unnecessary and rude.

This wasn’t the first time we’ve had issues with the way they treat their customers. If they mess up an order, they blame us for not being clear enough, which is frustrating and unprofessional. The poor customer service at Casa Jimenez is just not worth it. There are plenty of other restaurants with better food and far better service.

Owned by brothers who own 5 other restaurants in Southern CA. We were blessed my father-in- law knew the owner. The smallest, in the middle of everything, and busiest places are always the best! Food was authentic and tasty!

It saddens me to say that this shall be my last visit. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a child. Unfortunately my last two encounters were both negative. Food not so tasty or fresh like it once was. This establishment is obviously going or have gone through kitchen or cook changes. Like the saying goes, “do it to me once, shame on you, do it to my twice, shame on me”

Don’t let the two stars fool you! the food is very good the only problem is they have let the place let go 🙁 I been coming here for years and the place looks very torn down I know it’s hard to keep it up but I think more clients will stay and enjoy the meals… BUT food is GREAT ***** for that!
