Tried this place for the first time wth my husband. He had the Mongolian Beef Bowl and I had the Chicken Terraki Bowl. Their bowls are generously sized and we both ended up with left overs… which we just as good reheated the next day.

Absolutely love this place! I could eat here every day. Great option for something on the “Healthy” side. It gets really busy around lunchtime, so parking is a little tough to find during that time. The line moves really fast inside, so you don’t have to wait long. When you get to the counter, it’s basically like the process of ordering food at Panda Express. There is plenty of seating inside.

I was pretty unimpressed. The place was clean and the staff were nice, but the food was really not that good. The noodles were undercooked and the flavors on the sauce and vegetables were very underwhelming. The potstickers seemed like they had been in the warming tray for a long time. I usually like this kind of cuisine and I appreciate them offering healthy options, but it was not my favorite.

I was really impressed with the fresh ingredients and the amount of food. Things are generally more expensive than I think they should be (I’m always comparing to pre 2021 inflation costs), but for the amount of food you get, it’s a fair price. The help was good and atmosphere was fine.

My husband and I have really enjoyed eating at Zao! The last few times we have come, we’ve been served by Gavin and we wanted to specifically shout him out! He’s so nice and is so good at improving the customer experience! Thanks Gavin!!

I came during lunch. There was some wait time, but overall, the line steadily moved forward. I had the bowl with rice, steak, veggies, and terakei sauce. It was all gluten-free. There is some cross-contamination, but on the lower end. The food was great, nothing overcooked. The steak was well seasoned. Overall, it is highly recommended. I also had a fresh fruit drink. I tried them all, and I liked the mango Thai and the hibiscus the best. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but the time , the music played in the background. The price for bowl and drink is $14.69. Without a drink, it would be closer to 11 or 12. So price wise most excellent. A recommended location.

I went to Zao for the first time tonight and I was blown away! It was so delicious. It’s nice to know that there are quick, healthy options. The staff was so kind and checked on us during our meal, and even went as far as to get a balloon for my friend’s son. We will definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised. Good atmosphere, lots of fun food choices when you need a break from the normal. The guac was different but delicious and had a nice texture. Chips were fresh, crispy and salted perfectly. The Banh Mi Wrap was a great homage to its namesake, I look forward to trying different combinations of ingredients. My wife loved the yellow curry tofu and rice noodle bowl. Great juice/drink selection and friendly staff. If they can keep up the quality and service I’ll definitely be returning!

This is a unique place to eat that’s quick with modern twist to Asian food. Have a great soup option and also other unique modern and Asian blend such as tacos and wraps. We shared a quick soup on our travel and it provided just the boast and energy needed on the road trip.
The manager and the gentleman had smiles on their faces and welcome you in friendly manner. Little things matter!
