Experience Ama at The Atlas, the newest culinary venture from Pearl & Law Hospitality, opening its doors in 2026. Located in Allston, our restaurant draws inspiration from the Nepali word for mother, Ama or आमा. At Ama at The Atlas, we honor those who nurtured and fed us, reclaiming the skills and techniques passed down over generations. Our plates are filled with underappreciated ingredients, gently transforming familiar flavors into uncommon bites. We invite guests to linger and reimagine nourishment that goes beyond the plate.

AMA proved a special evening for our group of 4.

The menu was simply organized and good for sharing or personal enjoyment – we opted to share just to try as much as we could.

The food was delicious – with special emphasis on the fish and steak.

Our cocktails were all good but I had the garden party myself – which I recommend for any margarita enjoyer.

Lastly our server was attentive to our needs and helped me with a small surprise for our group without much issue.

All in all a fun and tasty evening.

Just tried Ama which only opened 10 days ago. Had been to sister restaurant Comfort Kitchen which I really enjoyed so I was looking forward to trying out Ama at the Atlas Hotel. Hotel restaurants aren’t always that exciting, but Ama’s unique menu and use of spices are so well done and beautifully presented. The peri fried chicken was particularly tasty, and my husband’s pozole soup was so delicious! The soup tasted like a Mexican chicken tortilla soup but with vibrant green herbs. I loved my trout which was fried and presented skin side up, butterflied with the head on and covered with fresh herbs. My son loved his chicken roulade which you don’t see this kind of presentation as much. Side dishes of roasted carrots and broccolini are a must as well as the delicious cocktails. I am looking forward to coming back with a large party as the room was pretty spacious. My only negative is that it isn’t as cozy due to the large windows which face the parking lot to Harvard Business School. I would love to see some flowers and plants to make it warmer. The paintings on the walls though were really colorful and interesting .

Great new restaurant located at the Atlas Hotel! Amazing drinks and apps with ample bar space. The servers were all so kind and friendly and the menu was incredible, with several gluten free options, including breakfast options. Can’t wait to go back here!

First time here. Service and hospitality was felt as soon as we stepped in the door. Vibe and mood is cool, date or chill friendly. Now for the fun part, drinks are unique and flavorful. Apps go to —> beat goat cheese salad. Pork belly !! Now for the main course 12oz rib eye . Topped it off with the cheeaecake fire !!

It’s always nice to have a new restaurant in town, and I was excited to try Ama over by Harvard Business School. My husband and I came Sunday morning. There isn’t parking at the restaurant, so you have to find a spot on the street or pay across the way at Harvard. The restaurant is connected to the hotel and has a sleek design and is comfortable, although a bit boring in design.

Anyways, we got to Ama at 11:20 and we’re planning to have brunch – unfortunately, brunch stops at 11! So disappointed! Who stops brunch so early on a Sunday?! The staff were kind and said they could check with the kitchen, but we decided it was okay and just ordered from the lunch menu. I got the duck fried rice and my husband got the fish sandwich with a side of fruit.

My duck was a bit salty for my taste, but my husband liked his sandwich. The total bill (no alcohol or coffee and before tip) was $62 which was super high for just a lunch. Not sure if I’ll be back.

Brand new spot with outstanding drinks. If you’re looking for parking there is a lot across the street that appears to be Harvards, but you can actually park there just don’t forget to pay at the pay station.

so far i’ve been for breakfast and dinner! beautiful restaurant and all the staff were so friendly. breakfast was solid, just a little pricey if you’re not already staying in the hotel. dinner is where it’s really at! very unique dishes from an array of cultures, and creative vegetarian options.

Genuinely amazing experience. Food, service, atmosphere was 11/10. I’ve been to Comfort Kitchen, came in with somewhat high expectations, but was still blown away.

The flavors are very thoughtfully crafted. Whoever came up with the drinks and the menus are clearly lifelong flavor and texture. Definitely coming back!

Came to AMA at The Atlas for dinner and had such a great experience. Everything we ordered was delicious, the beet salad was fresh and flavorful, the tacu tacu was comforting and rich, and the pozole verde was honestly the best pozole I’ve ever had. I’m already planning to come back just for that. The confit duck leg was also perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
For drinks, I had “2 Tickets to Paradise” (so good!) and an “Eldergreen,” which is spirit-free and just as thoughtful and well-balanced as a cocktail.
The space is beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and the service was great from start to finish. There is parking lot right across the street.
I totally forgot to take pictures because the food and drinks were that good, we just dove right in.
Will definitely be back!

Talk about a relaxing plant filled haven! I went for breakfast and everything was seasoned and done to perfection. A wonderful place to co-work, eat and meet up with friends. The staff was super attentive and if you have dietary restrictions or allergies this is a perfect place to dine.
