The food was absolutely phenomenal as are the prices. My fiancè and I ordered this around 10:30 on a Sunday — just craving! Usually at this time, and given we lived 4.5 miles from the restaurant, we would expect the food to not be as amazing quality, but here, it was as if they’d just taken the steak off the grill. Absolutely amazing quality, portion sizes are extremely generous, and the horchata was not grainy at all. We found our new fav place!

Swung by La Mexicana Grill after a Cubs game—figured I’d grab a bite before heading home. Ordered the California burrito and some churros, totaling around $22. The burrito was hefty, packed with flavor, but the churros were a letdown—kinda soggy and lacked that crispy edge I was craving. Place has a chill vibe, and the staff were friendly, but the wait was longer than expected for a counter-service spot. It’s convenient if you’re in Wrigleyville and need a late-night fix, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Decent, but not mind-blowing.

We stumbled upon this place after a late-night concert, and it was a great find! The tacos were delicious, and the staff was super friendly, making our visit even better. It was the perfect way to end the night, and we’ll definitely be back for more tasty tacos and great vibes.

A truly disappointing experience. This burrito was a flavorless throwback to my middle school cafeteria days. It was dominated by a mountain of bland, flavorless rice – easily 60% of the filling. The steak was unseasoned and completely lost in the mix. Essentially, I paid a premium for a rolled-up tortilla filled with rice. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Ordered chimichangas through doordash without protein and they sent literally cheese only burritos no bean or anything not even fully fried. Nachos were soggy and not even an ounce of toppings.15 dollar fee not including tip . Won’t be ordering from here again.
