The food was so delicious and well presented. I almost finished the whole plate. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana, and I ordered the shrimp originate (forgive me if I miss spelled anything). The service was great. I didn’t have to answer the “how is everything?” Question 5000 times, which was really nice. The music was at a perfect volume, and the tables were spaced apart just right. I personally don’t like feeling like I’m eating with the table next to me. All in all, it was a very pleasant date night for my wife and I.

The fine cuisine is outstanding!
The Chef at this relatively new restaurant is highly rated. The presentation was superb. All the preparations ordered were spectacular!
Order any Italian Entree. The servings are large and generous. The spices and herbs are fresh and delicious. The sauces exquisite.
Last night was our first of four nights in Cody. We checked out several restaurants and decided on the Cutthroat Restaurant.
If your pallet is discerning you will NOT be disappointed. This new restaurant deserves to be supported by us all. Visitors and locals as well.
Thank you Cutthroat for a memorable evening.

The food was amazing. The seafood tastes amazingly fresh for an inland restaurant! I loved the scallops in my dish. The chicken dumpling soup was very delicious. Don’t expect a super fancy Italian restaurant feel inside. It’s a super down home cafe feel, absolutely family friendly, and very clean! While I miss Peter’s (the cafe that used to be in this location) Cutthroat is most definitely going on the “go back soon” list! Thanks guys, we really enjoyed our dinner!

After 3 days of fast food, we arrived in Cody on a Saturday night looking for a quality dinner with real food in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. We passed the noisy popular places and found this gem. Chicken piccata was absolutely stellar. The shrimp in the scampi were surprising large. Salads were crisp, though I would have preferred one creative dressing choice and the croutons weren’t my favorite. Portions were large. I would have loved to save half my dinner for leftovers, but the chicken was way too amazing not to finish it in one sitting. Service was relaxed but prompt- we were out in 45 minutes.

How this place got a 4.9 I have no idea. That’s what got us in the door. Big mistake. Not good. Out of my first choice. 2nd choice was bad. Thank god there is an ice cream shop close by to get the taste out of my mouth. Owner replied with ‘this is a fake review’. I attached the receipt after reading his comments.

My husband and I both had the Ribeye Dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection, had very good flavor and presentation. Our server was Rachel who gave us excellant service. We were very pleased with our meal and will be back. Carrot cake was delicious as well.

The food here was amazing! I literally made little noises with each bite it was so good. The service was also stellar. Attentive, patient, and caring. The person who wasn’t my server even checked in and cleared things from my table a couple times as he walked by. I will return often whenever I am in Cody. It is a saloon, but the environment seemed a mid-match to the quality of the food and service.

My husband and I came here for a Friday night away from the kids. We were very impressed with the food! We have gotten to the point recently of judging food in whether we could make it better at home and have come close to swearing off restaurants, as we have been disappointed a lot lately. That was not the case with Cutthroat, it was extremely delicious, cooked perfectly and served hot! My husband got the Filet, and it was cooked perfectly the fingerling potatoes were delicious and so flavorful, the broccolini was cooked so well not too soft, still had a toothsome crunch. I couldn’t get him to stop eating long to talk. 🙂 I ordered the mushroom ravioli and it was not as I expected, but so very much better! The pesto cream sauce was so flavorful! The staff were wonderful, and attentive, even though they were so busy. We will definitely be back!

Pretty good food. It’s not like Nonna made it. Not a prime cut of beef I can tell you that it still was pretty grisly. More like select beef. I had the New York “prime” cut steak and my wife had the chicken piccata. We had bruschetta for a starter and it had no olive oil or balsamic vinegar option. Not traditional Italian so if you are looking for Italian food this isn’t quite there but for Cody I guess it’s close enough. Just because you sprinkle grated cheap parm on it doesn’t make it authentic. The wine options are just stale table wine nothing super fancy. Prices were high for a relaxed country atmosphere. Overall pretty good but having 3 tables on a Friday night at 7:00 was a red flag for sure.

Absolutely delicious! From first bite to the last, there were smiles on everyone’s faces at our table. Cody needed a restaurant that featured Italian cuisine and the Cutthroat has some very good offerings. The veal, New York, and scallop offering were all seasoned and prepared well. Our server, Amanda, did all she could to make our meal memorable. We are looking forward to our next visit!
