Looking for lunch spot in ketchikan and found this place on main street, 1 block from pier. Place was hopping due to cruise ship traffic. Wait staff was great, even spoke to owner, who was working tables & was very nice. Had a few alaska amber beers and the fish & chips. Restaurant is clean, and kept clean. Wait staff stopped by several times to check on us. Maybe 10-12 tables + bar seating. Great place for a meal & beverage in small town.

Atmosphere is modern and clean. Fun classic oldies music is playing at a level that isn’t too overwhelming. The restaurant is clean but there is a stack of boxes with supplies, receipt printer etc just stacked on the side by the trash cans and they look like they have been there for at least days. The food was meh. The salmon pizza was still cold in the center and the crust wasn’t crispy at all. The crab cakes were soggy and should have been cooked in more oil to crisp them up. The clam chowder was tasty but it tasted like it was out of a can rather than made at the restaurant. We were brought in and seated rather quickly, the servers were nice but didn’t really feel anything other than the bare minimum. We ate our soup out of paper bowls, paper cups for drink, and plastic utensils. This all combined with the price seemed like a dining in price with a fast food feel.

The Kraft Crab Shack in Ketchikan Alaska serves up simple but incredibly delicious crab legs. Had the leg and claw, served with plenty of clarified butter and a cob of corn. So tender and good. Definitely recommend this little restaurant and will return should I be lucky enough to get back to Ketchikan.

Stupendous ! Great and friendly service and the crab cakes were magical. Are sure the first bite is without any adjustments. Not even the tartar sauce.

When in Alaska, I had to have some Alaska king crab. Well, we went to the right place. It’s on a quieter street, a block away from the touristy area which leant its appeal to me.
We shared the crab bisque, smoked salmon flat bread and the Alaska King Crab leg and claw, and a couple of glasses of wine. The bill came to $153. It was worth it!
The place was spotless, service was quick, efficient and friendly and the food hit the spot! Can’t ask for more.

We had a wonderful experience at Kraby Crab Shack in Ketchikan, Alaska! We stopped by for a light meal and were blown away by the flavors. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. But what really made our visit stand out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel right at home.
The restaurant itself was immaculate – spotless clean and tidy. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their space.
We also enjoyed a delicious chai latte, which was the perfect accompaniment to our meal.
Overall, we highly recommend Kraby Crab Shack for its tasty food, warm hospitality, and welcoming atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back and try more of their offerings

This is a restaurant located near to downtown Ketchikan. Among the nearby restaurants, it seems to be the only one with a modern and simple interior. Feeling a bit weary, I entered the establishment with the intention of taking a break and enjoying a beer or a drink. Aside from two staff members, there were no other customers, which made me wonder if I had chosen the right place. Nevertheless, I ordered an appetizer and a beer and cider. The food didn’t take too long. I tried the Krabby Patties, and the taste was okay, but the accompanying tartar sauce was delicious. The beer and cider were decent. However, please note that they do not provide Wi-Fi.
