Food was good for most part. Tomato basil soup was pretty good. Million dollar potatoes were outstanding. Million dollar bacon….two our of four were completely burnt….not fun flavor…the piece and half that wasn’t burnt was flavorful fun. Husband enjoyed breakfast tacos. Coffee is delicious. Waitresses seem on the ball although would have appreciated a coffee check and more coffee. Very noisy place a little hard to have level voiced conversation. Nice and clean …even the windows. Recommend trying this place out. A little here and there on menu but most sound worth a shot at least once. For me next time maybe the lemon ricotta pancakes.

Daddy and I got to try this First Watch for the first time on Sunday, and boy, did we sure enjoy it! It was chilly that morning, so we opted for breakfast inside, at a nice booth next to a big window. It’s pretty inside, with a lot of natural light, and the folks there all seemed friendly. Decor-wise, I think maybe you would call it farmhouse chic. The food was great, of course – it was just nice to chill for a bit with my Daddy, before getting back to running errands and sorting through this chaos we call life.

My wife and I have eaten here several times and it has always been excellent. This time, it was not. We decided to get the Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast that we’ve wanted to try, the seasonal treat. They completely misrepresented the product. There was a tiny amount of dulce de leche and it was not warm, zero gingerbread crumble or powdered cinnamon sugar. Also, the strawberries were not glazed.
We got 2 pieces of toast each with approximately 2-3 cut up strawberries each. They had a little bit of whipped cream on top. We had one coffee and one soda. It was $39.55 before tip. That is absolutely ridiculous and it wasn’t that good.
It was very disappointing, and the service was really slow. Worst experience we’ve ever had there. I hope yours is better. But $40 for 4 pieces of toast, 4 strawberries and a little bit of whipped cream, a cup of coffee and a soda is crazy expensive. Not to mention it was dry. Their portions are usually almost worth the cost, but not today. We do not recommend ordering this item. Somebody dropped the ball on our meal.

One of our favorite breakfast and brunch spots!

We absolutely love First Watch. It’s our go-to place for breakfast and brunch thanks to the amazing variety of fresh, modern dishes mixed with classic favorites. You can enjoy trendy options like avocado toast with eggs just as easily as traditional breakfast plates with bacon and eggs. The menu also offers bowls and customizable sides, which makes it easy to build exactly what you’re craving.

A huge plus is how accommodating First Watch is for different dietary needs. Vegetarians and people with allergies have options, and the availability of gluten-free bread is fantastic and much appreciated.

The Million Dollar Bacon is a must-try: perfectly seasoned, sweet, spicy, and wonderfully crispy. Honestly, all of the dishes we’ve tried have been great, but the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are one of my personal favorites. Light, fluffy, and full of flavor.

I also really love the seasonal chalkboards with rotating specials. They’re always beautifully designed and add a fun, welcoming touch to the restaurant while highlighting new and creative menu items.

If I had one small wish, it would be that the restaurants weren’t quite so cold sometimes — bring a light sweater just in case. That said, the drinks more than make up for it. The Purple Haze with lavender is unique and refreshing, and it’s one of the reasons we keep coming back.

Families will also feel very welcome here. There’s a kids’ menu with all the favorites children love, including pancakes and eggs, making it an easy choice when dining with little ones.

Overall, First Watch is consistently excellent — fresh ingredients, great flavors, thoughtful menu options, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely worth trying, and a place we’re always happy to return to!

We always like the food at first watch. That’s a given, but the staff here were exceptional. They made me feel welcome with my toddler, they talked to him, smiled at him, and made him feel so happy. I’m a mom that does some solo travel with my boy, and feel anxious sometimes at restaurants bringing him, but the staff here made us feel so welcomed. Wonderful experience, and happy bellies.

The food and beverages were great and the coffee is some of the best we’ve had in a breakfast chain like this in years. Would highly recommend to dine here!

First Watch,Cortez Rd Bradenton, Monday morning.

This restaurant is wonderful! The menu is full of great stuff. I chose the BLT Benedict and one slice of French toast. They were so delicious.

My server Kierstyn was on top of everything without hovering, and the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet.

I love this place.

The food is always great here. We came in for a small bite before closing… everything was still available! Kaylynn was a wonderful hostess. Thank you so much for making our dining experience great! The atmosphere is always relaxed and inviting. We come back to this location whenever we are in the area.

We came back the next day and Victoria was also exceptional and attentive. I think she runs from table to table to keep up with everybody. Also, another wonderful meal, service, and atmosphere.
