Cute bakery with fun decorations and some table and chairs to enjoy treats in store. Glass case displays a nice variety of desserts to choose from. Brought home 6 different cupcakes to share with family and they are all delicious! Will definitely be back when in the area! Knoxville is lucky to have Kay’s Kupcakes.

I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company. I was deeply disturbed by social media comments I personally saw from the owner that I found hateful, cruel, and dehumanizing — particularly toward immigrants and people of color.
As someone who believes businesses should be run with basic decency and respect for human life, I cannot in good conscience support a company whose leadership appears to mock suffering and social justice protests. Regardless of the quality of the work, character matters. I choose to spend my money elsewhere, and I encourage others to do the same.

Amazing customer service, they have lots of options between cupcakes and pastries, and they even have some gluten-free and sugar-free options. The cupcakes are amazing and are not to rich, where you can easily eat 2-3 of them can’t wait to come again and try more of their pastries and desserts.

Before Helen opened her shop, I made it a point to follow her to vendor fairs and pop-up shops to get her cupcakes. And every time KNIA offered a coupon, I was there! I take cupcakes to work on occasion too, but usually just home where I have to remind people that they could last more than a day! I love picking up her desserts at Spire and as far as cupcakes, the peanut butter cup, German chocolate and strawberry are probably our favorite! I’m excited about having the shop uptown and looking forward to the other baked goods she is going to offer!

I stopped in to grab a few cupcakes for my son’s birthday. She always has a fantastic selection. She had double the normal amount due to special orders. I got a dozen different flavors. Then I got a couple sugar-free for the diabetics and a couple gluten-free for my daughter and I. Then I added 3 cookies just because they looked so good. Most of them were filled, all of them were delicious!
The gluten-free was moist with a “normal” texture. I don’t like chocolate, and that was this weeks flavor. It was filled with fudge. I wasn’t sure, but tried it anywsy. The flavor was perfect, not over the top, but enough to make my chocolateloving daughter happy. I am beyond greatful for this!
The sugar-free was Banana Cream this day. My husband and dad both said they were fantastic! (My dad has been there other weeks and hasn’t tasted a bad one yet.)
We will definitely be back!
She also has a Coffee club for regulars. My dad and daughter go for walks regularly while he is recovering from hip surgery, this is one of their weekly stops.

I have ordered two birthday cakes from Kay’s. They have been the best cakes I have ever had! They are moist, fluffy and are extremely tasteful. Not to sweet ether. The best prices around and Will buy all my cakes from her!!!
