Celebrated my birthday there and there was a band outdoors on the patio but ate inside after listening to some jazzy-dinner music for a bit that was quite pleasant! The cocktails and wine was great, the service was efficient and our entrees were superb! I loved my twice baked potato and my Baxter salad. My daughter’s brussel sprouts were good too! Lots of sides to pick from ! The complimentary gooey cake was delicious! I had a fabulous birthday dinner with my family!

This place has good food. Has the fine dining feel sort of. Get the specialty items that they are known for and you won’t be disappointed. You can tell the food is well thought out. The presentation was unique for the tuna tartare appetizer. Service-wise our server was knowledgeable and personable, but I will say I feel like we could have been checked on more frequently. They also forgot a key detail for the salad for my daughter’s order. All in all a great place.

We made a reservation for 4pm on Valentine’s Day (today) a month ago. They had overbooked, weren’t taking walk-ins (so that wasn’t the problem), the hostess kept offering bar seats to everyone, but everyone was expecting a table. Plus a bar height table doesn’t go well with dresses, iykyk. We arrived at 3:50 and didn’t get seated until almost 4:30. There were multiple groups that checked in after us with 4pm reservations that had to wait even longer. It seemed they overbooked the reservations for the whole night because the line was out the door when we left at 6.

In addition, my husband had a sticker in his twice baked potato that said the number 13. Hopefully, it wasn’t an expiration sticker and just a prep day sticker since it was the 14th. We didn’t tell management. We simply left it because we were over it, it was extremely busy, and we had two small kids to get back to.

Positives: Our server was great, our prime rib was great, and the sangria was great.

We won’t be returning for any busy special occasion day.

Recently, this restaurant has really been changing for the better, and the last couple of times we visited, everything was absolutely amazing!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The salads are still some of the freshest and most flavorful we’ve had, especially the Asian tuna salad. It’s so delicious that it deserves a permanent spot on the menu, not just as a summer special!

We also enjoyed the salmon, the Brazilian Steak Kabobs (an absolute must-try!), and the Thai Shrimp, which is so good! Portions are still on the smaller side, so keep that in mind if you’re extra hungry, but the quality has been outstanding lately.

In the past, we’d had a few pasta dishes that weren’t quite as flavorful as we hoped, but lately, the food has been consistently good. Definitely a great spot that’s only getting better!

Stopped by Baxters American Grille for lunch and absolutely enjoyed the festive atmosphere. The service was wonderful and the music that was playing overhead was great . Although my jambalaya left a little something to be desired, the other food selections were fantastic…. especially the drunken stuffed mushrooms . Such a nice birthday lunch with great company and wonderful memories!

There were 6 of us tonight, and the server was good. I wish she would’ve asked if I wanted a second glass of wine, but that’s the only complaint I can think of. The food is all really good there. We had drunken mushrooms, calamari, and just way more than I can even remember. Everything was good!

SO, SO, GOOD! I only leave reviews if restaurants are exceptionally great or absolutely horrible. The appetizers came out so quickly, and then it was an adequate amount of time to digest before the main entrees came out. The rolls were phenomenal as well, and staff were very friendly and quick!

Decent. Nothing I’m calling home about, but a good spot. Tried two cocktails and neither were impressive. Strawberry margaritas tasted like strawberry limeade (is there booze in here?) and the Old Fashioned had a muddled orange in there which was just too much citrus for me.

Stuffed Mushroom appetizer was actually the highlight of the meal with the yummy garlic butter cheese sauce and garlic bread (only two pieces so you have to fight everyone at the table). Very tasty. Also got the sliders which had some sort of chipped beef and a dipping broth / sauce. Just didn’t dig it. I got the ribeye which was tasty and well prepared. Lots of salt and the garlic butter was a nice touch. Just overall too thin. Someone else in party got the strip steak which had similar seasoning and butter and looked much more respectable.
