we came in at 6:50pm, waited forever for our drinks then again for our waitress to even take our order. once our order was taken..we didn’t receive it until 8:32pm, they forgot 2 orders and when we asked where was the missing orders, we were told “ are you sure you want that? because i personally need to go to the back and make it myself. we are in a rush.” mind you, everyone who was seated after us had already eaten and left at this point. horrible service, waitress kept forgetting our table.

Food was fresh and tasted great. Really nice flavor profiles. Cold shrimp cocktail was ice cold and the Caldo Tlapeno was perfectly done. Fried Fish had a beautiful light crust. Service was fast and waitstaff was friendly. Clean facilities. Would definitely eat here again. ❤️

Went to try this place out for the first time. It definitely did not disappoint. The food had a fresh taste to it and was nice and hot. They have big servings too. We ordered a platter thinking the fried fish and shrimp would be small. Well, NO, they were big. There was plenty of food and the price was $36 for our platter. Our waiter (Lalo) was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved Don Mariscos in Edinburg!!! I’m going to make this my go to place every time I’m in the valley!!! The sauces are amazing!!! I couldn’t stop eating chips and salsa. The food is delicious!! My Caldo de Camarones was tasty at every bite, shrimp deveined!! Great taste!!! I absolutely recommend you go if you’re visiting the valley. The Cucumber Water was exquisite as well. The fried fish were perfect. The treatment was perfect! I can’t wait to try all the other dishes. ❤️

Today, on July 9th, Sunday afternoon, I went into this establishment to order a meal since the restraunt next door was closed, and the time waiting was expected from this Don marisco. The waitresses were confused and running around like chickens without heads, and the manager in store who was observing the lobby didn’t move an inch besides to make sure a waitress was still moving back and forth. The food however I liked before this experience where this order of a Hamburger and fries was decently sized filling this plate of mine to the brim but now, with new management, I was told by a waitress that this was the new portion set by the manager himself. This meal is a kid’s meal compared to what they used to serve, not even 2 months ago. Regardless of whether the burger 2 months and prior was an extra few inches and the fries had more than this 16 count, this is very disappointing. To everyone I recommended this restaurant to, I regret that decision now, especially the prices staying the same or rising, but the food portion and size decreasing

Really love the place!
I ordered a Botana for One, and when I first looked at it I was worried it wasn’t going to fill me up! But not only did it fill me up, it was very delicious!
My only complain is that I wish the botana had a little more meat in it! After all, I do want my money’s worth!
Overall, 5/5! Highly recommend!
