Al the dishes looked the part but lacking.
The soup dumplings seemed out of a package.
Beef chow fun and Salt& Pepper pork could have used more seasoning.
The beef noodle soup lacked depth of flavor.
Service was sparse
Will not repeat

Our food was basically Chinese food takeout that you are served at a table. So disappointed, I thought the reopening would mean a nicer atmosphere, and more employees.
We waited 15 minutes before asked for water or tea, and additional 20 to place our order. When we received the appetizer it was not how the waitress explained. It was hard to chew and eat, when we brought it to management attention, they said sorry they can’t take it off, then they said I’ll pay 50%, I refused to pay for food that we didn’t eat but 1 piece of, it also doesn’t not state on the menu if you don’t like it there is no refund. I’ve never heard of such a thing, literally one piece of food was attempted to be eaten.
Very disappointed all around. Look around because there are much nicer, better quality Chinese food and attentive service. Also the restaurant had an awful draft every time the door opened, we were cold eating dinner. So sad that they didn’t open a revamp it’s just the same, nothing special.

This is easily the best Chinese place around. I don’t even know how to express how good this place is. Given every Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to, this is hands down the best one. I’m so happy they reopened because this is my favorite place and I love going here with my Dad.

THEY’RE OPEN!!! We have patiently, yet anxiously, awaited Mr Chu’s re-opening. We arrived for dinner on this Grand Re-opening night to a bright new decor AND the same wonderful and friendly service we missed sooo much! AS ALWAYS, the food was delicious! For us, here is where you go for tasty, satisfying Chinese cuisine done right. If you’ve not gone, check them out. Yes, everyone has a different pallet; but I’m sure you will be satisfied. WELCOME BACK, MR CHU!!

I am so happy you’re back. We missed you very much. Their food is amazing. Amazing basic, old school Chinese place that you just can’t find anymore. We love, Mr Chu’s!!

This place has been around since the 1980’s and is showing a little wear both outside and in. Service and food is good and consistent. Hot dishes are not as spicy as one would expect, so if you like things hot ask for extra heat. This time, I thought the free fried wontons were a little stale, my butter knife was so old it had a hole, the outside road sign is noticably rusty, and some bench seat cushions are cracked hence my lower rating. I love this place and would hate to see it go, but some updates are needed.

Decent food, but I won’t be returning. The front desk service (lady in the front) is unprofessional and rude. The seating is way too tight; you’re practically eating off the next table’s plate. Most concerning was the cleaning process—I watched them “clean” a table using tea and a napkin instead of actual sanitizer. Very unhygienic and disappointing.

The food is terrific. Some of the best roast pork fried rice because they put egg in it which most places don’t anymore. The chicken with cashews and the fried pork dumplings are some of the best in the area and I eat at as many Chinese restaurants in the area at least once

Biting into the aromatic Peking duck wraps is a heavenly sensory experience that perfectly balances textures and flavors. Best ever!
