Little kept secret tucked away in Veneta. Amazing food! I have ate there twice and each time was amazed with the quality and taste. Great place for classic comfort foods. Quality ingredients and great customer service. I highly recommend this place as you will not be disappointed. My first time I had the Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and instead of the english mufffin I had the biscuit. Now that we’re in low risk with COVID I definitely want to go back!

There have been several renovations to the building recently that give a little more modern and open feel to the facility. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
The food is still top notch. I have had the burger and brew special the past two Sundays. My favorite is the Mushroom & Swiss. My entire family enjoys the variety of choices for burgers.
The chicken strips are some of the best anywhere. The steak fingers are also very good.

We won’t be returning! This is an old review: It’s a little bit country, yes. Food was good and service was great. The omelette tasted great and those home fries were awesome.
Update: service was poor
This morning, the server got our drinks and ignored us. She took other newer customer’s order but left us high and dry. It’s unfortunate. We were enjoying our Saturday morning meals. We left with having paid for the Bloody Mary and coffee. At least we got that much. I changed my rating. We won’t be returning.

Good food. The lounge is large, love music. Spent the night wandering around the bars in Eugene. This seemed livelier than those.

The service is great and the food is good. However, everytime I’ve been in there the cooks aren’t wearing masks or gloves. I can’t go back because of this. I live with others who have underlying health conditions and I can’t afford them getting sick. Now, I know everyone had their own opinion on this, all I’m asking is you respect mine and my reasons. Other than that, I love the food and service is amazing.

First off this place was formerly known as Yukon Jack’s ( yukon yaks) and after 2 of us got extremely sick minutes after eating- I vowed to never go back there. Now there is new ownership and staff and gutted inside to look alot better. Leagues better! Video lotto has its own area so its better than it was- dominating the middle of the room.Their menu is very simple- but everything is fresh and delicious. Burger is just as good as any top tier burger. Sandwiches are great as well. Drinks are poured strong and are more than fair priced. Staff is attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend and definitely going back!

My husband and I have had dinner her 3 times and I just had to write a review. We have had the best meals here, everything has been soooo good and the amounts served have by far exceeded our expectations from a restaurant. You definitely get your monies worth and the wait staff has been phenomenal (the guy waiter is on top of things, always asking if you need anything from refills to sauces…you name it!). We love it and it’s our go to in Veneta!!!

Update: 4/27/19 Our second visit was very disappointing. We entered the building, all the booths were seated, so we took a table. Some tables were finishing up while one was placing an order as we sat down. There was one waitress, still a bit early so not a problem. Drink order is taken, we ask about a cocktail menu, are told “I don’t think there are any out here.” and she walks away to get our sodas. She asks if we’re ready to order when she brings the sodas, but we haven’t decided in the two minutes it’s been since she walked away. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, no side. My companion had the New York strip dinner with baked potato and salad. My bun had been toasted, but was ice cold. There was honey mustard on both buns, I’ve never seen a mushroom burger sauced with anything other than mayonnaise. Sweet doesn’t go with that burger. I tried eating just the patty, but between the sweet mustard and the bland, tasteless meat, I ate three bites. My plate sat at the edge of the table for 10 minutes while my companion ate. His steak was supposed to be cooked to mid-rare. It was cold inside! No way it reached 130 degrees. When asked for butter for the potato, she brought 3 tiny portion control packs straight from the fridge, wouldn’t melt in the potato. As the server cleared the table, she asked how was it. Neither of us said anything. As she walked away I commented to my companion “Wonder if that silence went over like a lead balloon?”. She came back pretty quickly and asked if I’d like the now stone cold, deconstructed, picked at burger in a to go box. I hope she read the pure disgust on my face as I shook my head no. Won’t be back, don’t recommend it for others unless they’re getting liquored up. Standard bar food at restaurant prices.
