Phenomenal place. Nice fluffy New England slices.
Guy at the counter was really nice and you could see he had a following of regulars.

This is a Blue Highway place (high praise) in Brockton Massachusetts, a former wealthy manufacturing town. Go buy the Blue Highway book and read it.
Kinda rundown area, a family still operates this place. They are genuinely friendly and engaged once you have their attention. The young one did all the front end stuff, the older man was busy chopping and washing veggies in the back.
You will not find better food at these prices. I went back a month later, today, for a Gyro.
If you are the impatient type, there are big box stores a mike away. I have this place as a destination for a nice day ride to lunch.

On Saturday evening I called to place an order and the man who answered the phone needs to seek help immediately! Before placing my order I simply asked what toppings were on a combo pizza and he responded with a rant that he was tired and has been working there since 1972 and he prefers people only call who know what they want! As my friend and I sat in the car in disbelief wondering if he was joking he then proceeds to say he was sick of foreigners calling and people just need to call and make an order without asking questions! I was so disgusted and highly disappointed. I stated never mind and hung up! Since when does asking what ingredients are used on a pizza equate to citizenship?!?! Please stay far away from this establishment

The food was absolute dirt pizza was unateble swimming in grease and so soggy toppings just falling off and not to mention the dirt of this place!!! I walked to the restroom witch was at the back of the restaurant and I can honestly say only for I had the food ordered and payed for already I would have just turned my heels and walked out. Absolutely disgusting I was actually so scared while using the bathroom I thought a mouse or rat might run out from somewhere so if that doesn’t tell you how bad my experience was I don’t no what will.
And ohh not to mention the least of my worry’s with how Ignorant the staff are, we did not complain to them about the food as we didn’t want the hassle we just ate what we could and left right away! But staff was still so rude when we had every right to complain if we wanted to but chose not too.

We travel a lot and prefer to try local restaurants instead of restaurant chains so we came across Papa Stelios Pizza. We drove almost 10 miles out of our way and we can’t even tell you about the food. We stood there at the counter for a good 10 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted to order all the while 1 guy was making subs just chatting away with another guy that was in the office and another one standing by the pizza oven. Yes they ALL looked at us several times and the guy in the office walked by us at least 3 times while we were just standing there waiting to place an order. While we were patiently waiting another customer came in to pick his pizza up and it was made wrong. How do you get mushroom from sausage? We left because apparently our money wasn’t good enough and I didn’twant our pizzas messed up. Thank you Domino’s for providing the 8 large pizzas that we needed for our boys and they were really quick too. Too bad Papa Stelios but you will never get our business when we are in there area.
