Madre Cocina y Lounge is an absolute win. The atmosphere is vibrant but relaxed — the kind of place you can enjoy a great meal and actually have a conversation. Warm lighting, great vibe, and just an overall cool energy.
I ordered the à la carte tacos and let the waiter choose for me — best decision ever. Every single one was incredible. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked meat, and amazing flavor in every bite. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The house margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had. The guacamole was so fresh and citrusy. The enchiladas with plantain was delicious. My husband loved the tacos. Great options for GF. Allen was so friendly and took great care of us!

Beautiful restaurant with excellent ambiance. A little bit pricey but their food is well worth it. I was disappointed that I didn’t realize I was coming in for brunch instead of dinner. There was a lot of stuff on the dinner menu that I really wanted to try, but just another reason to come back.
Everything was so delicious and beautifullly plated. The service was exceptional and my waiter was understanding and professional, with great energy and a beautiful smile.
I would definitely come back again for a dinner service. The bartender (bar manager?) was very handsome- not important – but figured I’d give him a shout out. 10/10 would recommend

We just had our Sage Marketing Group holiday party at Madre and honestly, I’m still thinking about it. We did a tequila tasting followed by dinner and it was easily the best experience we’ve had as a team. The service was 10/10 and the food was incredible. Let’s just say the tequila was a little too good… the office was definitely moving a bit slower the next morning! Can’t wait to come back on my own time.

I’ve had octopus maybe 4 times in my life and this was the first time it wasn’t super chewy and inedible. Super delicious. Barbacoa was good as well. I’ve only had mole in Belize and it wasn’t great so I asked to try a side of almond mole and it tasted amazing. Appetizers were good as well. Just wish they would update the website, I was looking forward to the cactus salad with grilled panela cheese which they didn’t have unfortunately. Overall a little pricey but well worth it

Hands down best Mexican restaurant in Fort Collins! Being a chef for 17 years plus, the food was top-notch, every dish was bursting with flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfect presentation. The drinks were just as impressive! Creative, balanced, and made with real care. You can tell the team here takes pride in what they do. From start to finish, everything hit the mark.

Cesar (one of the chef’s& bartenders) was incredible to talk too, history on the restaurant was creative, and he explained his top winning drink “El Jefe” and its history! I’m bringing clients here!!!!

Danny, Ceasar and the entire staff are incredible! Equaled only by the incredible food (might’ve found the best steak in Fort Collins)! My company (Sage Marketing Group) did holiday party and tequila tasting, and had the best time and best food. Highly recommend for a lovely night out or group dinner!

Just exquisite—from start to finish. What a treat! Shoutout to Miguel for some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Every single bite was divine, truly. Best tacos we’ve ever had—so intricately flavorful with so much high-quality meat and garnishes (they grow their own cilantro micro-greens in the back?!). My husband and I are still kind of in awe. Incredible cocktails to boot!
