We had an amazing time here. The outdoor seating area is so cozy with heaters spread around. The staff is friendly and attentive. The drink menu has a lot of fun options, specifically the lemon basil martini and the blood orange margarita. The appetizers all looked good! We got the bread and spread and the pesto with burrata. Delicious. The ingredients were fresh, everything was well seasoned. For the entrees, the braised short rib is by far the best plate of food. The lasagna was good, very bright tasting like maybe the red sauce didn’t simmer for a long time, still delicious though! The tiramisu is a nice little bite. It’s a petite serving so even if you’re totally full (and you will be) I say still order one. The cream is delightful, lots of strong coffee flavor. We came here to celebrate a birthday, it was a delightful experience!

We used Peirano’s for our welcome event for our wedding and I cannot tell you how grateful we are for ALL of the work that they put into it. There were so many special touches that made the night even more spectacular.
People absolutely RAVED about the food. When I tell you that ALL of our guests commented on it, it is not an overstatement.
We are so grateful for all of their help in picking a perfect menu that honored all of our guests needs. Their staff was incredible and so friendly. A special thank you to Shanon, as she helped everything come together. She was calm and organized, which allowed us to just be able to show up and enjoy- a dream on our wedding weekend. Shanon went above and beyond in helping us to honor special people that were not able to be with us by surprising us with color and detail that we mentioned were important to us.
We both said that our one regret of the night is that we were having so much fun and that we didn’t eat more 🙂 They were the best and such a great way to start off the weekend. We are so grateful.

Best Lasagna in California!!
My litmus test for an Italian restaurant is
Lasagna. So I ordered it plus a nice Italian Zinfandel.
Unique. Incredible. Spectacular. Magnificent.

(Wife had salmon, perfect too.)
Service super professional.
We’ll be back..often!!

Really impressed by the food. My wife had the chicken marsala and the chicken was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was so tasteful! The marsala was tasty too. My lasagna was very flavorful. I finished it quickly. The polenta cakes appetizer was good, but I felt it was over priced for 3 small polenta cakes with mushrooms. Tasty though. The outside patio was very nice. The only critique is that the service was lacking. A bit slow and they forgot to bring out my glass of wine (they comped me for that though). All in all, I definitely want to come back.

We had an incredible dining experience at Peirano’s in Ventura, California. This cozy Italian restaurant serves up authentic, homemade dishes that will transport you to the Tuscan countryside.
We feasted on the lasagna, which was rich and layered with tender pasta, savory meat sauce, and a blend of creamy cheeses. The spaghetti and meatballs were equally impressive, with perfectly cooked noodles and flavorful meatballs made with love.
But the piece de resistance was the tiramisu, which was creamy, coffee-infused, and utterly divine.
The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel like part of the family.
Recommendation: Don’t miss their homemade pasta dishes and desserts!”

Very authentic Italian food, very delicious. Staff were friendly but food came slow. 20 minutes worth the wait. Everyone loved the mushroom soup. The restaurant is giving the vibes of little Italy. 4.5 of 5, I just did what would get the total closer to 4.5. Good job!

A beautiful gem at the end of main street. Outside seating is adjacent to the fountain for amazing ambiance. This charming Italian Deli is seated in a historic old buildin that is charming and airy. Enjoy delicious sandwiches, Italian sodas and sides. Sandwich master James and staff create something for everyone. When you are done you can take home fresh deli meats, fresh herbs and many Italian staples to stock your pantry. These type of places are an absolute favorite of mine. Why? because taking the time to slow down like they do in Italy and savor deliciously simple food with good company In a welcoming place is what life is all about. Wine is also served which makes for a lovely late afternoon respite from a fun day fo shopping on main Street.

Enjoyed the experience of sitting on the patio by the Old Mission while dining on some great pasta paired with a glass of wine. Cacio e pepe was well executed along with a salad and creamy mushroom soup. Will be back to try the sandwiches.
