This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot very close to downtown Silver Spring. This is a local mom-and-pop shop that is run by the cutest older couple. I have had breakfast sandwiches, omelets, their breakfast burrito, and I haven’t been disappointed with the food yet. While they do have chairs inside, it is really a take-out spot.

Do no order breakfast from here the only give you 2-3 pieces of bacon for a so called sandwich. No jelly or butter just dry hard bread. Tuna salad is trash, chicken salad is trash

I have been buying lunch at this small family-owned business establishment for almost 10 years. I have never had a bad experience, nothing to complain about; their food has always been great, and the owners are very nice, friendly and welcoming. Parking can be a bit dicey, but that is not their fault, it’s the fault of the building next to them where there is no longer a bank but there are still bank parking only or will be towed signs. I definitely recommend Cafe Express for a good breakfast or lunch!

Great little shop located in lobby area of a professional building. Shelves are stocked with many different options as well as healthy fruits and vegetables. Would recommend anyone doing business in the 8720 Office Building to check them out.

Always good for a solid sandwich. The couple who owns the place have always been super nice. It is a bit of a hole in the wall, which is often the kind of place that you want to see thrive and stay open. Cafe Xpress fits the bill on that point.
