I cannot express how wonderful this restaurant is. I wish I could give them more than five stars- I’ve never had Pakistani/Indian food before and I wanted try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! The owner was absolutely lovely, staff is very attentive, and the food was absolutely AMAZING! I had their samosas (made fresh that day), chicken biryani, the butter chicken (came with white rice) and garlic naan (I think the butter chicken and the naan were my favorites ⭐️). I also had a mango lassi and it was like I had a dessert with my dinner lol. The portions were a good size and made to be shared with others, so I absolutely recommend grabbing a few friends and heading over to Khana Shana because this place not only has amazing atmosphere and staff, but their food is out of this world! Thank you guys for an awesome experience. I will definitely be back again.☺️

As someone who’s Indian and has tried just about every Indian restaurant in the tri-county area, I can say without hesitation that Khana Shana is my absolute favorite. My wife and I moved into the area about four years ago, and in our search for good Indian food, we stumbled across this hidden gem. Ever since that first meal, we’ve been hooked.
I’ve traveled to India several times, and to be honest, India kind of ruined me when it comes to Indian food nothing ever quite lives up to the real thing. But Khana Shana completely blew me away. The flavors, the freshness, the balance of spices everything feels authentic, comforting, and deeply satisfying.
Over the past four years, my wife and I have ordered from Khana Shana hundreds of times, and they have been consistently exceptional, from the rich, savory curries to the perfectly cooked naan. They somehow manage to deliver that true “home-cooked” taste every single time.

My husband and I ate a Khana Shana last night and it was amazing! We had the Lamb Korma, Makhni Handi and Tarka Dal. The Makhni Handi was like Butter Chicken but even better (IMO). We had plain Naan and tried Lacha Paratha. Neither one of us have ever had Paratha and we both loved it. I don’t think we could have picked a favorite because everything was wonderful. The owner was nice and very attentive. When he brought our food he even said that if anything was not to our liking as far as spice level, he would fix it for us. There was no need though. It was the perfect experience from beginning to end. HIGHLY recommend.

Absolutely love this place! The butter chicken is rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the goat biryani is outstanding—aromatic, tender, and full of authentic spices. You can really taste the care that goes into the food.
I also want to mention how amazing the owner is. One time DoorDash never delivered my order and, unfortunately, took it for themselves. I contacted the restaurant directly, and the owner went above and beyond to make it right. He was incredibly kind, generous, and understanding, which really meant a lot.
Great food and even better people. So happy to have this restaurant in our neighborhood—highly recommend!

Excellent food !! Fast and Fresh!! Excellent service 10 /10. This is a hidden gem in South Jersey. The fish is incredible. The house salad is phenomenal. I really loved the homemade salad dressing. The restaurant owner has an amazing personality and he truly loves food and is extremely knowledgeable about food and flavors. He knows how to make fresh mozzarella and Bucatini b/c he used to own an Italian restaurant. I’m grateful he landed here at Khana Shana !!! Highly recommend 🙂 MUST TRY! Immaculate vibes all around

Khana Shana was a lucky encounter for my husband and I. We were in the area and decided to take a chance. I’m so glad we did. The owner is nice and hospitable. We are vegetarian and he answered all of our questions. They have a great veggie section on their menu. The food was fresh, delicious and amazing with just the right amount of spice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Pakistani dishes. It was our first time experiencing Pakistani food and we’re hooked!
