Although it stated as Japanese restaurant it’s actually is a Thai restaurant serving many different kind of Thai food. One particular entree that I would not order again was a Lamb rack dish cooked with curry. The lamb meats had no taste with little meat. It was disappointing. But my other orders were quite good. I liked their salmon eggroll dipped with Thai sweet sauce.

The food was great, and the service was excellent; however, there was an unpleasant smell throughout the entire restaurant. Additionally, I found tiny hairs in my sushi, which was disappointing. Overall, while the experience had potential, these issues need to be addressed.

Worst sushi I’ve ever had. The sushi was tasteless and didn’t look fresh. The atmosphere was nice, but it’s too bad the food didn’t live up to the ambiance.

It’s two restaurants in one! You can have Sushi and Thai food all together. Have satay and a sushi roll with a Thai ice tea! Service is quick and friendly atmosphere is relaxing. They have some outdoor seating, too. I’ve been here only 3 times but will return many more.

We were looking at the menu posted on the restaurant window, when one of the ladies came outside encouraging us to come in. My husband asked if there were lunch specials. She said yes; after we were seated, the waitress told us they don’t do those on the weekends.
Aside from that, the people there were fairly nice.
I got food poisoning from the Poke Bowl. My husband really liked the Tonkatsu Ramen.

Probably the worst Sushi I’ve had. Didn’t taste fresh and portion was very small! I couldn’t even taste the sushi. Never again coming here. Place has a nice atmosphere, too bad food tastes the way it does.

Restaurant decor is a little crowded and eclectic – I like it, but I’m not sure it’s everyone’s favorite. The food is great here. Most of their rolls contain shrimp or crab. If you are allergic like me, look at the menu carefully as there aren’t too many options. But all the ones I’ve hd have been good.
Service for takeaway is excellent. If you’re planning to eat in the restaurant, it might be hard to get the server’s attention because they’re often SO BUSY. (If you are on a time crunch, try telling them at the beginning and see if that improves things a bit. They aim to please and will want you to have a good experience.)

When we got there the hostess was outside chasing her boyfriend and so she had left her post. The wind was blowing very hard through rhe restaurant through the open doors. We were finally seated, on our own. The food was excellent but the waitress was pretty hard nosed. At the end of the meal, which we had enjoyed,. We asked to see a dessert menu and she said, ” you can’t have dessert… we’re closed”. Then she gave us our tab and we left. That’s exactly what happened.

I accidentally ordered from this restaurant though I am not in Walnut Creek, and immediately called to cancel my order. They told me it was fine and that they would refund me. Instead they charged my card and took the tip for an order they never made and I never received. I’ve tried contacting them to get a refund but never heard anything back. If I did live near them I wouldn’t go, this has just hit the wrong way.

We had the best food and all of our servers were attentive. Eve, Tanya, and Tom handle our order with great care. They checked in on us multiple times and provided great recommendations. The service and especially the Ninja roll make this restaurant one of the best places in Walnut Creek. We frequent this establishment and keep coming back due to the stellar service.
