First time trying this place, and the atmosphere was amazing! They had a live band, my husband loved the food, and the staff were nice.
My husband received his meal before I got mine. I ordered only two tacos, and there was a short wait for my order. I wasn’t particularly impressed with the food, as seafood isn’t to my liking.

Ordered shrimp cocktail it had no flavor whatsoever. Also ordered fried fish no flavor whatsoever. Comes with two sides. I ordered beans for one of the sides and the beans tastes burnt and no flavor. Not worth the hype.

First of all waiter was great. Very attentive. But there was over priced and the music was very loud. Couldn’t even hear my husband talking. And we were right next to each other. My drink was 15$ and was very small and it tasted like syrup. I would go again but only if the music wasn’t so loud.

DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!!! The food is trash, bland! It’s a big deal to me if a restaurant doesn’t have good tasting rice to say the least. The variety of shrimp that I ordered was not good and I had a couple to choose from on my plate. The menu is very deceiving.

The staff was attentive and polite, nothing wrong with the service. I arrived during lunch hour, asked what aguas frescas they had, the waitress went to check and said they didn’t have any at the moment even though the menu says they carry aguas frescas. I asked for a Coke, the waitress comes back and tells me they’re out of coke, great. I ordered the beef nachos, the menu clearly says it comes with mealted cheese, choice of meat, beans, guacamole, and pickled jalapeños. The few strings of cheese on the nachos were not melted, it only had a few pieces of meat and no pickled jalapeño. If I wanted chips and Guacamole , I would have ordered that instead. First and last time at this location.

While the food itself was ok, the service fell far below what one would expect from any establishment. A waitress (one from the image attached) displayed behavior that was inappropriate and uncomfortable. During our visit, she asked a married man for his number in front of his wife. A restaurant should provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests. Staff members represent the establishment, and personal advances toward customers — especially in front of their spouses — are unacceptable.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reinforces appropriate boundaries and professionalism among staff.
We sincerely hope this issue is addressed so future guests can enjoy their meals without discomfort.

Valet parking personnel were amazing. The atmosphere was great, Banda 614 always puts on a show! Other than that… save your time and money. Service was terrible. Our waitress was rude, I understand it’s busy however it’s not an excuse to be rude.
For example, pausing when taking our order just to chat with another waitress? Multiple times at that!

Overall we highly recommend El Cameron Pelao and would suggest trying it for yourself without reading to much into the negative reviews. El compa camaron was walking from table to table making sure everything was well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon.
