One of my favorite little sub shops. They have a great downtown location. Easy to get to with parking right out front. I always get it all the way and a combo. I shall return.

Our sandwiches were so delicious! The bread was so soft, my mom said she felt like she was eating a warm baby . The service was friendly, warm, and inviting and the food was delicious. 10/10 will be coming back!

Very nice little diner located right in the middle of the downtown strip. Quick and extra friendly service, everything was clean, the dinning area was in total order, and the food was great! My wife and I both had the Cuban sandwich and we were blown away by the Mojo dipping “juice” with it. It was totally awesome, if you like pickles you will love it! Very friendly atmosphere and it was just the nice sit down break we needed while checking out all the local shops in the area. If you are looking for a quick bite we would both suggest checking this spot out.

★★★★★ Momma Goldberg’s Deli – Columbus, GA – Still the Gold Standard!

Every time I walk into Momma Goldberg’s on Broadway, it feels like coming home. The vibe is pure Columbus comfort: friendly faces behind the counter, that unmistakable smell of fresh-steamed roast beef, and a line out the door at lunch (for good reason!).

Today we kept it simple and ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap and the classic Chicken Salad Sandwich, and wow, both were absolute perfection. The Caesar wrap was packed with crisp romaine, grilled chicken that actually tasted grilled, shaved Parmesan, and just the right amount of creamy Caesar dressing, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. It’s huge, hearty, and somehow light at the same time. The chicken salad sandwich on toasted wheat-berry bread is still one of the best in town: chunky white-meat chicken, just enough mayo, a little crunch from celery, and that signature touch of sweetness that makes Momma’s version legendary. I could eat it every single day.

We also tried the tortilla soup hoping for a win, but it was the only miss: thin, one-note, and overwhelmingly peppery with almost no chicken or veggies to speak of. Honestly, skip the soup and double up on sandwiches instead; you won’t be mad.

The staff, though? 10/10. Everyone was smiling, patient while we decided, called us “baby” and “hon” in the best Southern way, and had our food out lightning-fast even though the place was slammed. Sweet tea was perfect, chips were fresh, and they even threw in a couple of their famous nachos with cheese “on the house” because it was our first time at this location.

Momma Goldberg’s isn’t fancy, but it’s real, delicious, and consistent. The Caesar wrap and chicken salad sandwich alone are worth the full five stars.

Great food once again and awesome service!!
Every time I come to town from Atlanta for business, I stop at this location because of the way I get treated in the quality of the food. It’s the best sandwich and salads in town.

Monica & Annajoi were the people I dealt with today and they were absolutely awesome. My order was perfect and they were real pleasant. Good to see a smiling face.

I will be back anytime I am in Columbus

Stopped in for lunch. Quick service and all food was hot and fresh. Had a Cuban w/ mojo dip and it was delicious. Good value and great for a quick stop or to sit outside and enjoy.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad. It was more like a basic house salad. The chicken definitely wasn’t grilled and the croutons tasted so old…like they’ve been sitting in a bag for months. It was like a salad that you could make at home but worse. The best part was the thousand island dressing. This place has been on my review list for quite some time and after trying it, I may or may not try a different item on the menu somewhere down the line.

I’m not quite sure how somebody else came up with those reviews but mine is stellar because I know what to ask and how to ask for it. I suggest you do the same or you can consider yourself a mediocre service receiver from here on out.

There’s always homeless dudes out there being super aggressive if you don’t pay them and if you eat there they just stare.

I ordered a chicken Cesar wrap at 120pm on a tuesday. It took 25 minsiutes to get the wrap with one person in front of me. Every worker just slowly walked around and talked to eachother with no sense of getting good to the customer. They need a beter manager or you waiting a while!
