Gogiville, VA, is situated at Centrewood Plaza, a strip mall featuring various Korean restaurants and a Giant Supermarket. This restaurant is famous for its Korean barbecue combo sets. I visited for lunch from the à la carte menu and was glad to discover they offer lunch specials—Soft Tofu Soup, Galbitang, or Hot Stone Bibimbap for $12.99 each. These are available for dine-in only, from 11 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, and include refillable side dishes.

The staff served complimentary hot Bori-cha (roasted barley tea) on this cold day, a thoughtful touch. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap, which felt small but offered great value; it tasted good and healthy, with vegetables, a fried egg, and beef over rice with mild sweet chili sauce. The seafood pancake was also small but tasty, though I wished it contained more seafood, as it felt a bit carb-heavy.

Service was attentive and friendly, ventilation was good, as there were other tables with BBQ lunches, and the atmosphere was good, with a traditional Korean mural and clean tables. I will definitely come back and try their popular Korean BBQ combo next time.

Excellent smoke control – very rarely you dined at K BBQ and your clothes still smells good afterwards. Food tastes good with big portion as well – the 2-people combo is enough for 3 adults + 1 kid.

This is a place I visited before and it left me with good memories. The quality of the meat was always very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’ve been here several times and enjoyed it each time. However, the prices have been going up recently, which makes it feel a bit heavy on the budget. Still, it’s a great spot for Korean BBQ with tasty food and nice service.

Our group of seven visited and ordered a combo menu along with extra meat and naengmyeon. Compared to before, the portion sizes felt much smaller, which was surprising. In the past, we could eat to our fill at a lower cost, but this time the bill was higher than expected and unfortunately, we all left without feeling full.

It would be helpful if the portion sizes listed on the menu (for how many people each combo serves) matched more realistically with the actual amount provided. While I understand that rising prices make it difficult, knowing this in advance would have helped set expectations and avoided disappointment.

If you ask me for my favorite Korean BBQ in the DMV area, I would have to say Gogiville. We always get Combo 3, which comes with thinly sliced brisket (차돌박이), soy-marinated short ribs (양념갈비), seasoned cube rib (깍두기 주물럭), and unseasoned rib fingers (생늑간살), and the staff cook every single cut perfectly!

The service here is outstanding. You don’t have to ring the bell to get their attention. They come by your able and make sure everything is just right, incredibly attentive throughout the meal. The unlimited side dishes are fresh and delicious, adding even more flavor and variety to every bite.

And don’t even get me started on their cold noodle (물냉면). It’s so good that I always have to pace myself during the meal so I have room to enjoy it as “dessert” haha Refreshing, perfectly chewy noodles with a tangy, savory broth that feels like the perfect finale to an already amazing feast.

This place is also very accommodating for large parties. It’s our famliy’s go-to spot, and we dine here several times a year. They opened outdoor seating with self-service cooking in the fall, and I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer to try out “picnic” style BBQ.

Food was overcooked despite two servers, and portion sizes were ridiculously small for price.
Ex. two tiny pieces of pork belly was $23.

Staff were dismissive and rude when concerns were made.

Do not recommend.

To be honest with you I’m not entirely sure of everything I ordered but overall it was pretty good. All of the cuts of beef I ordered was good, nothing was bad which is hard to say for Korean bbq sometimes. My favorite was actually this cold noodle in some red soup which was somehow better than the meat. This place is quite pricey but still I had a good time and would come back again.

OK, this is the Top 1 Korean BBQ in my mind after my first visit on Thanksgiving with my friends. We get a combo enough for three people with a decent price. The side dishes and salads along with the combo is great to boost your appetite. Our grill master, Christine, is so skillful to cook in total four types of beef. The service level is the top-notch. We really appreciate the great food and service from this place and shout out for Christine!

I enjoyed this place. It was nice to eat at a Korean BBQ place that wasn’t blasting out loud music, had good quality meat, and good service. The pork belly was top quality but I felt like the marinated ribs had a bit too much fat for my liking. The free side dishes was pretty minimal. I wish they offered garlic, chives, and other side dishes. But overall it was a positive experience. I didn’t feel like I had to rush thru my meal either. The cold noodle was excellent and dwenjang jjigae was very good.

Located in Centrewood Plaza in Centreville, near Lab no 1 and bbq.

They have a waitlist on yelp, if you want to ensure no wait–though we went on a Sunday around 6/7 and didn’t have to wait (they had quite a number of people though). We got a la carte and opted to cook it ourselves. It came with two sides (we got steamed egg and bean paste stew).

They only have white rice (no mixed or brown rice).

The meat was decent pricing and decent quality. Toward the end, we didn’t get much side refills and felt bad asking for more.

Place has a lot of seats and tables! A bit loud because of the music and amount of people but I highly recommend and would come again!
