I stopped here while on a photo and video assignment for Virginia State Parks. Meat was on the brain and so I got the Brisket with Mac & Cheese, Hushpuppies, and Spiced Apples. For dessert a slice of their homemade pie. I went at an odd hour so there was no vibe to speak of, but it was very good and the town was quaint.

Excellent place for some delicious BBQ in Marion. I stopped in on my way to the Back of the Dragon. If you’re passing through or just in Marion I’d recommend stopping by this quaint little stop in downtown. Friendly staff and tasty BBQ. I had the ribs but I’ll definitely go back to try the brisket on my next time through.

Pork was the highlight at Wolfe’s with the ribs and pulled pork being excellent in taste and doneness. The brisket was tasty, but overcooked and a bit tough with my portion. For sides, the fried okra, BBQ beans, and hushpuppies were the highlights.

The food is amazing! I ordered the pulled pork which was so tender. They have about 5 different types of BBQ on the table. The sides were really good-green beans and mac and cheese. They give you a good portion size too- I needed a box for my leftovers.

The restaurant is really clean and decorated cute inside.

The food was very good. I had a beef brisket sandwich and a family member had a pork sandwich. It says both were 1/3 of a pound of meat but it was probably over a half pound, which was nice. Even though we were very hungry going in, with the sandwich, 2 sides, and a piece of cornbread, we both left full. Service was good too. Definitely a place I will go back to when I’m in the area again.

Our first time in Virginia & having BBQ was a must!! We were going to the theater & this was across the street. It was AWESOME!!! There was a small band that was so enjoyable and the waitress was so nice & helpful on deciding. We all ordered something different to try several things & it was all excellent!!! Would highly recommend!!

Excellent atmosphere, great food at good prices. The pulled pork and brisket is delicious (try the grilled Rueben brisket sandwich.) Tables are well spaced, good music, very clean. Service was fast and friendly. Our party of four had an excellent meal. Good choice for downtown lunch.

Overall, a good meal. Everything was well-cooked and tasty. I would say that the prices seem to be a tad steep for the portions, especially the $5.99 Hamburger that is rather small for the price AND at that price you have to pay additional for your sides,($1.79 each). It would be a better deal if the $5.99 price included the burger and fries. Also, the banana pudding left much to be desired as it just tasted like cheap banana pudding with some decent chunks of banana’s in it.

I would eat here again based on the taste of the food but it wouldn’t be my first choice due to the price/quantity difference. On a plus side, I really liked the decor and color scheme of the place, very cozy and modern. The waitstaff was very attentive and kind as well.

Again, overall a good visit and I would recommend this to you to try at least once.

Stopped in while traveling to TN. The smoker was down and they still managed to serve some excellent super tender brisket with great bark! The sweet tea, fries, slaw, fried okra, mac n cheese and corn bread were all on point! The staff was also very friendly and energetic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great food, reasonable price. Brisket with 3 sides under $15, and good portion also.
No draft beer or many local beers, but some decent known beers like allagash and bells brewery. Brisket was flavorful, service was very good, they weren’t as busy so that might be different when they get busy. Definitely stop by if your around the area.
