Wonderful service, great atmosphere, packed to go very nicely. Prices are good and the food was amazing.
Ordered chips and salsa.
Taco salad with shredded beef which was so much better than I imagined.
Asada burrito that was Huge. Meat was so tender and flavorful.
Definitely visiting again to try more on their menu.

Great food and service. Plenty of items on the menu to try later (and we WILL). My only request/suggestion would be is to offer some ala carte items. I just wanted to try the food with a couple taco’s, not an entire meal.

Came in for a quick bite after a long day! The service was outstanding, and the owner was extremely personable! This is the closest thing I’ve had to authentic Mexican food since living in Texas. The flavors and spice were really brought out in the rice and beans and the enchiladas were incredibly creamy! I can’t wait to go back to try the street tacos and more.

I visited Mi Playita Mexican restaurant in Poulsbo after noticing that the first 21 reviews were all five stars. I do not understand the high praise.
The chips were greasy. The salsa was ordinary and lacked flavor. The refried beans and rice were bland.
The menu had several items crossed out with a Sharpie marker. I ordered carne asada at 5:45 p.m. on a Saturday night, but the server said they were out of it. I chose chicken fajitas instead. The fajitas arrived with only three corn tortillas, and the dish itself was flavorless.
Service was average. The interior still looks like the previous Taco Del Mar that occupied the space. I did not see anything special about the decorations that would justify the glowing comments in other reviews.
The restaurant was quiet, at least. But that’s to be expected when it’s pretty much empty at 6 pm on a Saturday night.
This restaurant needs significant improvements to earn five-star ratings. My experience was disappointing.

Ordered a burrito, asked for no salsa confirmed I can’t do spicy stuff.
Ordered take out, got home and found it was extremely spicy, too hot for me to eat, had another person confirm it was very spicy, called and asked for refund. Manager was rude and said he won’t refund accusing me of maybe still eating it!? Needed to be at restaurant for a refund. Told him I’d bring it by the next day if he wanted. After multiple back and forth comments and stating it couldn’t be “spicy” he hung up.
I called and asked for owner, he stated he can’t promise she will call me. She’s bad at text and calls. Poor service not to mention the dip I ordered was bland, and the few bites of burrito I took weren’t tasty. Will not go back. Pretty rude to hang up on me, and argue.

Outstanding TexMex! I really wasn’t expecting the best TexMex restaurant in the north to open up in Little Norway! It’s hard to find great Mexican food this far north, but Mi Playita has done it. Also, best guacamole in the state and it’s not even on the menu!
