This place was so good! All of the food was excellent! My daughter wasn’t feeling the greatest and was hungry for some chicken noodle soup, which we didn’t think we’d find anywhere this late in the evening. So, we decided on Italian. Well, much to our delight when we walk in they had a sign for chicken noodle soup and it did not disappoint! She was fulfilled and loved every bite.
We all enjoyed all of our meals. The service was great as well! I’d recommend it to anyone. Large menu selection.

The food isn’t bad. But the calzone is probably the most disappointing thing we ordered tonight. It’s all
Ricotta cheese. I thought calzones were mostly mozzarella and then some ricotta? If you want a yummy cheesy calzone, this might not be the one unless you like the super richness

I’ve had a few dishes from Ralph’s and decided to start posting how happy I am with the service AND food.
First, let me say the guys at the counter are wonderful!!!!
Today, I ordered the Chicken Piccata with the vegetables, specifically, the spinach and broccoli mixture.
The chicken is a generous portion. Everything is perfectly seasoned. The spinach and broccoli contain garlic cloves and are delicious!!!!
If you haven’t tried the Tiramasu, YOU MUST!!! It is just the right amount and melts in your mouth. It’s heaven!!!! They’ve also put out a new dessert with crunchy almonds on top. Very good!!!!!!
The chef gets five stars as EVERYTHING tastes very good!!! As a regular, I have to say Ralph’s has THE BEST grilled chicken on Focaccia bread!!!! The chicken is grilled to perfection, and the mozzarella and tomatoes are the perfect combo !!!
Update: My mom and I craved a “real pizza.” Just a classic, cheese pizza!!! As usual, Ralph’s did not disappoint!! The pizza was chessy, and the taste was great!!!!

I ordered a thin crust meat lovers. severely disappointed to see it being just a fluffy pizza, makes me wonder what the regular pizza is. The flavor was fine, but I also felt like there wasn’t enough meat on it. Overall a 4/10 for the pizza. The beef patty was good, though. I don’t see myself going back, especially when park tavern pizza is right there.

They are less than a mile away from me. Ordered for delivery. An hour later, cold pizza and missing pasta. Called restaurant, guy said he’ll send the pasta but argued that the pizza is fresh out the oven.
Bread was hard and cheese was already rubbery. $40+ for cold and missing items.

New Ownership THANK GOD!! These owners are wonderful. The food is out of this world. Never had a bad meal here. Calamari is fried perfectly. Their sandwiches are top notch! They go out of their way to make you comfortable. We have visited a lot of pizza places in the area and I Thank God that new owners have taken over and their meals never disappoint. We have had their salads, sandwiches, calzones, entrees and more, and each dish is delicious. We go here once or twice a week. Oh there pizza and antipasto salad is a hit too! this is our ‘go to’ place every single week!!! The desserts are just as tasty too!

The classic old sign is what caught my attention, but I also noticed another sign saying “Under New Ownership.” Well, I was very pleased with my experience. The dining area is clean, spacious, and new-looking. (New owners took over last summer, and I’m guessing they renovated.) But the important thing about a pizza place is the pizza and my personal meatball pie was excellent! Meatball topping was generous and definitely fresh. Crust was classic Jersey –: not too thick, not too thin, with a little chew to it. Sauce and cheese were top-rate. The staffers I spoke with were all very friendly. Next time I pass through East Rutherford, I will return!

First time ordering from here. Please note this is “Ralph’s in East Rutherford” not to be mistaken for the one in Nutley, which the food there is outstanding. Ordered Chicken Savoy entree w a choice of a “side” …I chose the spaghetti. They sent me the chicken and spaghetti all in one container. It was disgusting. There was no distinction between the savoy sauce and the marinara. It was a mess. WE DiD SPECIFY when we ordered in the app.
When we called to explain, the owner said we ordered it that way which was a lie. The owner was rude and kept talking over us when we explained. The owner can not just admit that they messed up. Clearly, the owner is still in denial and can’t admit he was wrong. We even sent him the screenshot of our order from DoorDash and he kept lieing and telling us we have to order it separately which we did. Apparently he doesn’t know the difference between an “entree” and a “side”. Food was disgusting and the owner was rude with horrible customer service skills. Next time I’ll stick to ordering the REAL chicken savoy from Belmont Tavern.

We order from here all the time and always ask for our pizzas well done. This is the first time it came completely burnt. When I called to tell them about it I was told that’s what happens when you ask for it well done. and then was told he could give me 15% off my next pizza. He also told me if it was that burnt they would have never sent it out. Well they did and it was that burnt. Just because he was that rude I will not be ordering again and our orders are never small.
