The Upper East Side is getting a fully rebranded steakhouse, Primal Cut, operated by the owners of Sapphire Gentleman’s Club. Anticipating a late summer completion, the enhanced restaurant will host a 60 seat dining area and large bar. Josh Held is spearheading the new design bringing smoked oak flooring, granite tabletops, and sleek bronze details to the space where Prime 333 enjoyed seven years of success. The menu will focus on elevated steakhouse staples with fresh and seasonal additions. Signature dishes will include a warm lobster salad, double-cut lamb chops, and plenty cuts of the highest quality, including a Tomahawk Ribeye for two.

Truly an underrated gem. I went here with my bf for some late night steaks (they serve dinner until 2am, pretty amazing) and boy were we impressed. It was like Michelin star, better than Capital Grill for sure. My favorite was the potato gratin (super thin sliced potato, buttery, truffly, melt in your mouth goodness). I wanted to leave this review bc I never thought a club like this would have such a great restaurant! Plus great bar and service of course. Don’t sleep on it!!

I went on a Thursday with my boyfriend and another couple and we had an amazing meal the steaks were cooked to perfection! The scalloped potatoes were amazing ! And the champagne selection was massive! We went at midnight and were amazed to be able to get such great food and went into the club after . Great experience!

When I tell you that I am beyond going away by the service and incredible food we received, words don’t cut it. We received a butcher block with some of the best steak I’ve had in New York City for an amazing deal of only $76, their best Thursday special! The bartenders and wait staff were so professional and attended our table in such a timely manner, and their General manager, Desmond, Checked in on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy with the food and the service !!

So i went to primal cut with my girlfriends and we had the best seafood and steaks and we were able to order food at 1:30 in the morning and I’m pretty sure that is the latest in New York City where you can get filet mignon and crabcakes when you’re tipsy! Amazing
