Karaage chicken with lemon pepper is a must try. They have multiple dipping sauce choices which is cool. Spicy Mayo, Ponzu, and honey mustard aren’t that special, wouldn’t get again.

Their rolls are good too, I tried their Shaggy Roll and Hawaiian Dragon Roll (but I wouldn’t get it again).

Service is fine. Atmosphere is ok, a bit dingy.

We stopped in for lunch during our time in Seattle. With karaage in their name and the reviews figured their chicken should be good.

Atmosphere was basic, nothing above average. Service was average as well, but the waiter seemed to be the only waiter for the restaurant during that time. Quick turnaround on the food considering.

Their karaage chicken was good. We had the lunch entree with rice and pasta. Waiter gave us both flavors to try beyond the plain version and they were all good, lemon was the best. We also had a couple sushi rolls, crunch and spicy tuna. Spicy tuna was not as fresh as I hoped, the crunch was good.

I would consider eating there again for their chicken but not the sushi.

The food was OK. They were out of bacon for my bacon egg and cheese bagel. Just wish the bagel had some kind of sauce. It was very dry. They gave a small discount but this place was a bit pricey. We did really enjoy the pecan roll tho.

Visitors to Seattle, we wanted to go to a restaurant our kids would enjoy. They loved the karaage and fries. We also ordered Ramen, curry, and a poke bowl. They’re very generous with the food. Service was good.

Went around 8 PM last night. The fried chicken seemed a bit over-fried/over-marinated—salty and darker than the photos I see other people posted here. I’m a big fried chicken fan and had high hopes since the online photos looked perfectly crisp and golden. The pieces we got were different, but we were starving so I didn’t bring it up. That said, the server was really friendly, and I feel like if the quality was more consistent (especially with fried chicken as their signature dish), this spot could be great.

We were looking for a good place close to the Seattle Center to get lunch and found this place. The inside is a bit small and dimly lit. They have English pop songs playing in the background. There were 4-6 people booths, 2-4 people tables, and a bar by the front windows with 4 normal height stools.

There was only one staff working the front. They were quick to greet us and had us seated. They gave us a QR code on a small stand, to see the menu and also order. I’m not sure if they take orders in person, but this does cut down people costs. Note they do not take cash. The QR codes are specific to the table.

We did have to ask for water after placing our order. The staff was apologetic that they hadn’t given it to us earlier. I noticed they spent quite some time talking to one of the other tables. The staff was friendly, at least.

We were pretty amazed at how big the kaarage was. Kaarage is usually bite sized pieces of meat, but these were more like 2-3 bites sized. There was minimal breading and it wasn’t oily either. It was definitely dark meat, moist but not fatty. They also gave us exactly 20 pieces (we ordered the large). The kaarage was very good and we definitely recommend it.

The unagi (nigiri) sushi was good, with a generous amount of eel. The aburi charshu was served cold and was dry.

Overall, we would definitely come back for the kaarage.

Someone else said that the chicken was over-marinated, like what, you’re complaining that it had too much flavor??

Food is really good, big portion sizes and solid food all around! The staff are also real nice too, no complaints!

I really liked this place! We ordered a bunch of shareable appetizers and they were all really good! I liked the chicken karaage and the pickled vegetables we ordered (Kimchee Takuan). Also I really like the variety of dipping sauces they offer. I haven’t been to a place that offers many different sauces. We got the curry ketchup, spicy mayo, and mango mayo. They went really well with the fries and the chicken karaage.

Service was good. I didn’t feel like we waited too long for our food.

The interior of the restaurant is nice. They use a lot of wood and warm colors so it feels homey and like you’re in a Japanese restaurant. We sat in a booth in the back which fit our group comfortably (and had space to put our bags down).

One of my absolute favorite spots in Belltown! Their karaage skewers are so crispy and flavorful and they are always changing up the menu with monthly specials. Don’t sleep on the ramen either, it’s some of the best I’ve had in town. Whether you’re doing a take out order or coming into the restaurant, the staff is always so friendly and quick. Definitely recommend ♥️

Karaage is very soft and juicy inside, with thin flour layer. Crispy while soft, perfect and light! It’s the best fried chicken I ever had in the past year, not too oily at all.

Tofu soup and spicy tuna sushi roll are also delicious.
