Decided to try out Meet U BBQ to change up the usual Joy Dumpling meal.
Three of us ordered quite a bit:

beef skewer (4) $5.99
chicken cartilage (2) $3.99

I thought food and flavors were ok. nothing really popped out for me. I had recently had skewers in Vegas which had better value and taste than here. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the meal though.
Overall, I thought for the value, it was ok but food wise, nothing really stood out. Some items were not too great like the the veggies and rice.
Parking can be tough during peak hours.

Such a great skewer spot! The menu has a huge variety of options, so there’s truly something for everyone. From classic meats to different sides and specialties, everything we tried was flavorful and perfectly grilled.
The skewers were juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right — you can really tell they know what they’re doing. Everything came out fresh and hot.
What really impressed me was that they even have a separate non-spicy menu, which is incredibly thoughtful. It’s perfect for anyone who can’t handle too much heat but still wants to enjoy great barbecue.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.

This restaurant may have saved my relationship! When I arrived with my date that evening, our night had been off to a rocky start. Yet as each dish arrived, the evening got better! We ordered the chives, eggplant, cabbage, scallops, and potato skewers, along with the fish. Each dish was better than the last! When I noticed one of our potato skewers was a bit soggy, the staff raced to replace it. By the time the fish had arrived, our date was back on track! Next time we need to spice up our evening, we’ve already agreed we’ll be back to order the fish!

We’ve been here four times already and always leave satisfied. The grilled fish is flavorful and authentic, and the BBQ is great too. Prices are reasonable in general, and there are some free Chinese cold dishes and snacks to keep kids happy. What really stands out is the service — especially the lady with glasses, who’s attentive and considerate even when the restaurant is really busy. That kind of care is rare among Bay Area chinese restaurants… This is the only place we’ve bought a membership for, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Food quality downgraded a lot comparing to their soft opening. Skewers are smaller, dry and tough, very hard to chew. You will feel thirsty at night which means there’s a lot of things added to enhance the taste.

Terrible food, terrible service! The waiter gave us the wrong bill, making us accidentally pay for another table’s order. The food was bad too. The onions in the roast fish have gone bad. We always have a diarrhea after dining here.

The free snacks were quite good, including brown sugar ice jelly and white fungus soup. The skewers were decent quality; while not spectacular, they were moderately salty and mildly spicy, making them a good choice for those with a light palate.
The staff needs more training; many seats were empty, but no one offered to seat us.
