Came here with my family because I was craving teriyaki. The lady who took our order was super friendly. I wasn’t sure about the food at first, but once we had our plates in front of us it looked great. I ordered the BBQ pork and beef combo plate. The beef was a bit on the dry side for my taste but let’s be honest the BBQ Pork was the star here. I honestly just needed more pork and rice on my plate. The salad was also nice too I liked that the dressing had a more subtle flavor than other restaurants. My daughter had the fried chicken teriyaki which she really liked. It was more of a Japanese style karrage than panko breaded chicken. Both are yummy but I appreciate the crunchiness that karrage style chicken has. My husband was super happy with his dish the pork and tempura. 10/10 coming again to try their Yakisoba.

This place is awesome!
As I drove by tonight, I saw the open sign on!
I asked the girl that was mopping the floors, what was her favorite thing? she said the number 24, spicy chicken and shrimp.
That’s what I ordered and it was so good, plump juicy shrimp in an awesome sauce, mouth-watering chicken that was a little spicy but very good, rice and salad.
The people that own it and work there are extremely nice. I love them all. ❤️
We highly recommend this awesome place in the awesome people that own and work there.

The Pros: decent food at decent prices in a convenient location. The young lady at the bar was helpful and sincere. The lady who greeted me was warm and very kind.
The Cons: I am unsure how to even say this but the conduct of the staff, particularly one gentleman. I was there later in the evening and at one point the only person in the restaurant, at which point several members of the staff struck up a conversation about the states they are from and where they will and won’t go that then rather quickly devolved into one guy openly discussing his dating and sexual preferences in considerable and unnecessary detail.
What made it odd was the fact that I was less than 30ft away, still well within ear shot.
It was actually quite uncomfortable and unbelievably unprofessional. I recognize in our current climate being mindful of using derogatory language about women has unfortunately fallen out of fashion, but it still matters to some of us. I don’t think I intend to return, this really turned me off to what could have been a decent experience.

Solid, home cooked Japanese food for Fresno. I like the variations of soy soy,e, shrimp tempura. Casual atmosphere. Portions could be bigger.

It’s a great Mom and Pop restaurant. They don’t have raw fish sushi but the food is excellent. I’d rather come here than go to the other, bigger fancier restaurants because it’s a lot more relaxed setting. I’m giving it 5+ stars.

The owners are super sweet. The food is ok, but EVERYTHING is served on/in styrofoam. I definitely wouldn’t drive across town again to eat there.
