The Mezcal Restaurant and Stephanie will put Branson back on the map for Friendliness and good food. A small, clean, bright, and quieter restaurant, this is a must for anyone in Branson, living in Branson, or just driving thru. This place will grow fast.
My wife had 3 beef tacos and I ordered the carnitas tacos, both with beans and rice. She thought the presentation was nice and the beef very good. The shells were not tough. The food was served at the proper temperature.
For my carnitas tacos the presentation was excellent. The rice was formed in a dish and the beans were in a dish by themselves which I thought a little different. Lime with rice. Nice. The carnitas with onion and cilantro was very flavorful and had a unique roasted flavor.
Prices are very reasonable and I’m almost positive the rest of the menu is just as good.
You won’t go wrong here.
We came with 10 people and got seated quickly. Service was awesome. Would rate higher if I could. I paid the bill for ten people and was surprised how low the total bill was. 10/10 keep up the great work! Would eat here again.
So disappointed that things have changed so much.
The waiter sat us gave us menus.
Look over the prices were in the mid teens up. I asked him if the had a lunch, he brought us one, my wife said I can read also so he brought us a 2nd menus.
We order the chicken tacos, the chicken was all mashed together and dry.
I also notice other customers coming in also got the higher price menus.
We were very disappointed in all and will never be back again. We live here and know of many others better Mexican Resturants.
We came back to sample the lunch menu! Generous servings, tasty salsa ( the hot will set your tonsils on fire!) and price was reasonable. Husband and Mom in Law had the chicken combo and I had the chimichanga that has a choice of chicken or beef.
We ordered the for 2 portion and there was plenty enough to go around.
I highly recommend trying them.
The only reason for a 4 star is that the water we ordered tasted like soap and after getting a replacement with us telling them about the soapy taste the next cup came out the same.
Definitely need to work on there rinsing process. But even with that being said I’d still go back in the future.
