Happy Mother’s Day! Let me tell yooooouuuu! We drove a hour and a half to dine here and every minute of that drive was worth the wait! The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The food amazingly delectable! Everything! We had the A lotta Crabby with the Triple Attack Sauce, the Smothered Catfish and Shrimp Po Boy. Everything was amazing! You must try this place! I highly recommend it.

I’ve been looking for a good seafood boil place in the Cedar Rapids area and decided to give this place a try after getting some recommendations. We were seated right away and our server was very attentive and our food came out in a reasonable time. I did not love the seating because there are no booths and I felt very exposed when we sat in the middle of the restaurant. My boyfriend and I split the “ A Lotta Crabby” combo and got it mild with the triple attack sauce. The sauce was quite thick and salty and the sausage was chewy. It was supposed to have a 1/2lb of shrimp but there was barely any, it was mostly sausage. Our food was also just warm when it came out and then the food and sauce got cold very quickly. Also I noticed they don’t give you a bib, wipes, or gloves for your boil so I had sauce all over my hands and my hands still smell even after washing them. Was it fine for a seafood boil in Iowa and did it satisfy my craving? Yes. Would I come back? Probably not.

The food was good; I was not asked for a spice level. My company had no complaints on their food. The crab attack drink was not enjoyable at all and the chairs are too hard. The atmosphere is great. There’s definitely a vibe and the music was on point.

I ordered the catfish basket and it was mundane. My wife did like what she ordered and said she would order it again but I wouldn’t order the catfish. The place is casual, cement floors.

We didn’t know you needed a reservation but the owner was able to squeeze us in! The food was truly amazing. Crab was delicious, and the crawfish was the cleanest I’ve need this far north! Will definitely eat hear again!

Stopped in while in town for business as I had an hour before my meeting.
Ordered the Jambalaya….took forever to get served and the meat to rice ratio was very disappointing. A few pieces of shrimp and not much more pieces of sausage…they were tasty but lacking in quantity.
Ended up asking for a lid for the plastic container it was served in because it took so long to get that I was now running late for my meeting.
I really wanted to like the place but it’s going to be a hard sell for me to go back.

For seafood in the Midwest this place was really good! I had crawfish and dungeons crab and it tasted really fresh and good. Only thing I would change is I got garlic butter and I would probably switch to a hotter flavor. Service was great.

(Manager) Amanda and (Waitress) Rita was soooo professional both checked to see if we were OK several times. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. Let me not forget about the cook GREAT!!!!!. Thank you for all the hard work you guys continue to put out. Great Service, definitely a recommended spot.

Fun, relaxed environment to enjoy delicious food! Loved the crab and shrimp and the shrimp and grits are fantastic! Were fortunate to have the opportunity to sample some possible new menu items that were also delicious — hope they are offered soon! Will definitely be back!
