Little Pastry Shop captures everything I loved about growing up in a family filled with warm kitchens with trays of fresh baked goods. The Fat Tuesday pączek, I just had was the best I’ve ever tasted. And that’s saying something, because I grew up eating them straight off Aunt Margie’s counter as a kid while we all “helped.” Somehow, Little Pastry Shop has captured the magic of those memories and elevated them into something even better.
Her cinnamon rolls are exactly what you hope for when you crave a great one soft, rich, and truly satisfying. The ’czyk bites are perfect little treasures, and Clara’s chocolate cookies are uniquely hers and completely delightful. The pies glorious. Every one of them looks like it belongs in a glass display in a European patisserie.
It’s the kind of bakery every community wishes it had, warm, inviting, and devoted to creating treats that make people smile. If you haven’t stopped in yet, you’re missing out on something truly special.

So far, we have only had the cinnamon roll, but it might have been the best I’ve ever had. And it was only $3! Service was great, place is adorable. Can’t wait to try more!

Just stopped in to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! Got a fresh and hot pan of cinnamon rolls. Also tried the scones, everything tasted amazing. I sort of wish they had cream cheese icing for the cinnamon rolls, but I was not disappointed. I will definitely be back!

Scones were the best we’ve ever had, fluffy and airy when you bite into them. The donut holes were the best we’ve ever had too! They remind me of the loukamades flavor and texture of a fresh Greek style donut, but not drippy, instead with a light icing. Very reasonably priced for amazing food quality and service. The store is clean and bright, loved the open layout where you can see the magic in the works as they prepare freshly made deliciousness. We also had the cinnamon rolls, which were good, but the donut holes and scones were the stars of the show.

This is the best bakery ever! Everything we tried was so fresh and good, just like homemade! We had the best cinnamon rolls we ever had. They were so moist, tender, plenty of cinnamon, and not skimpy on the icing. You can get them without icing if you like. And the cake…. OMG! Also the best cake I ever had! Cherry chip was wonderful, flavorful, and moist. The mini pumpkin pie too was like you made it at home and is the perfect size. Just the right amount of spice. Chocolate chip cookies amazing! Filled with plenty of chocolate and they were thick and moist the way I like them. They also sell raw cookie dough balls that you can take home to bake yourself – so cool! Even though this place looks small, they have an amazing selection of many many things, we wanted to try more but was only in Bay City a couple days. We will certainly go back here now every time we are in town!
