Very disappointed today
Let me preface this by saying that I am a regular at this location. The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable.
Well, some of that changed today. While the food and prices were ok, the service (for the first time) was horrible.
We decided to stop in for lunch with a couple of family members. In fairness, with the crowd size, it probably wasn’t a good idea.
Our waitress greeted us like she had regretted her life choices. We usually order the same thing and today wasn’t any different. The bottom line was that she wasn’t attentive by any stretch of the imagination.
She never asked if we wanted more coffee or beverages. We had to stop her and ask for anything that we needed. She never asked us anything, and yet was very attentive to the surrounding tables.
The food came out at different times. She just kind of set the food down without saying a word.
I didn’t realize it until I got home, but I never even receive any rolls with my dinner.
Look, I realize that every one has an off day, (I personally think there was something else that came into play);but if that was the case,that off day should have not only affected us, it should have been that same experience with all of our surrounding tables!
I reluctantly left her a tip (probably shouldn’t have) but I didn’t want to give back the same energy that she gave us.
I’m not saying that we won’t be back because it it usually a good as well as a pleasant experience, but having said this, there are always other options!

I agree with Dun review from 4 months ago. Chef is great. Our waitress was great. It’s the wait staff that was yelling from our dining area to another behind the wait stations that were unprofessional. I couldn’t have conversation with my breakfast mate. Staff needs training.

Our waitress was very sweet and efficient. The beef and rice soup was delicious! The veggie omelet was also good. My only complaint would be the excessive amount of onions in the hashbrowns, I had to pick a lot of them out. I will definitely repeat and look forward to trying some other items.

New place, but food was amazing. Owners are so sweet, woman told me about how they make the crepes I ordered homemade because the quality of the ones they ordered didn’t meet her standards. Friendly servers, filling portions.

Called to place an order. I was placed on an open hold so I was able to hear all the staff gossip about their customers for more than 5 minutes. When I called back I asked not to be placed down again. The person informed me in a snotty attitude that they are busy.
I proceeded to give her my order. She couldn’t believe that I wasn’t only ordering 2 things. That I needed to order for my whole family. 1/2 way through my order she says wow just wow. Needless to say we did not order and I will be speaking to either the manager or the owner about this person.

Oh my gosh you guys! Food was delicious and the fries out of this world! Had to take half of my lunch home so that is the picture I took. Best prices I have seen anywhere. Highly recommend!

Whenever I’m visiting Freeport, we eat here. The chicken skillet is amazing. The chicken and eggs on top are cooked perfectly. Plenty of food.

We just enjoyed the best food we have had in a long time! Everything was piping hot, tasting fresh and served beautifully. Our server was excellent and we wish we could remember her name. We will definitely return! I had a pork tenderloin sandwich and my husband had chicken fried steak.
2nd time in, service wasn’t as attentive and my order wasn’t correct. Ladies bathroom was filthy. Gotta take back a couple stars..
