Happy Cake Bistro is small, super cute, and busy in the best way. I walked in on a weekday at noon with no reservation, and I was honestly surprised I got seated in under 10 minutes because it was packed. The staff was super nice and kept everything running smoothly.
Our waiter, Luis, was amazing. He was super friendly and attentive and his food and drink recommendations were perfect. Everything we ordered was not only pretty, but delicious. Great vibe, great service, can’t wait to go back.
I definitely recommend making a reservation, it fills up fast.

I went with my book club and we had such an excellent time. The wait was long, but it was absolutely worth it. From the moment we sat down, everything exceeded expectations.
The drinks were delicious, the food was just as amazing, and everything was presented so beautifully. You can tell they really care about the details.
Luis, our waiter, was incredible. He was attentive, thoughtful, and truly paid attention to every detail throughout our visit.

I went for brunch with my husband, and it was our first time visiting. The space is charming and feels like stepping into a little princess room. The Victorian gold-framed mirrors are beautiful, the teacups are gorgeous, and I especially loved the Toile de Jouy patterned dishes. Second visit to Happy Cake Bistro and just as good as the first! Went during the week to avoid crowds since it’s a small, super cute spot. Our waitress Keinny gave great recommendations, even though I found myself trying to catch her attention but the service was good both times. Huge dessert selection plus a full menu of food and cocktails. Even without a reservation the first time, I was quite lucky, the wait was minimal. Everything I ordered was delicious!

Wow! 10/10 one of the best restaurants in uptown. I personally find it hard to find a place uptown that has good food, drinks, and good service, and here i found it all! The place is a hidden gem. Beautifully designed (even the bathroom is gorgeous), the food is amazing you feel you are eating from a 5 star rest downtown, the drinks 10/10, and the desserts, wow! I tried 3 of them, their pastry chef really went above and beyond. Every dish is beautifully designed and plated.

I enjoyed some delightful drinks, including one called the Lady, which had a pretty light pink color a nice balance of sweet and a small flower. The presentation with the drink comes with the waiter setting the drink on fire creating an exciting experience while at the restaurant.
My first drink was a wonderfully smoky and sour flavor. The drinks were strong and beautifully presented, evoking images of lounging on a beach in Hawaii. For my main course, I opted for the Salmon Shrimp Scampi. The salmon was flaky and the shrimp had a delightful sweetness, accented by a hint of garlic. It was served with a side of mashed potatoes, perfectly seasoned and featuring a pleasing texture with small bits of potato mixed throughout. Great place, beautiful decorations and appealing choice of serving plates. I love the Asian inspired bowls and plates contrasting with the he beige plates. To me the gold serving utensils and just all the little details made my visit special. Thanks to Luis our waiter. Luis was attentive, gave great recommendations based on what my friends and I wanted. Luis always checked in and was pleasant and attentive, had attention to detail. We had the steak and eggs, Dominican breakfast with the 3 golpes, cassava breakfast and they were all delicious and exquisite. My fav out of the three would be the cassava breakfast the ropa vieja meat melted in your mouth and the cassava was crispy in the outside and mashed soft cassava in the inside.
