We visited Maple Street Café on our last day of recent trip to New Orleans. The atmosphere was cozy and happy. The staff was good at the beginning but toward the end, I guess they were more focusing on clean up so we had to ask for water more than once. The food was OK but there are so many more options in New Orleans. The most disappointing thing was the tiramisu. It’s my favorite dessert but the one we ordered taste more like a chocolate cake than a tiramisu.

5/5 Morgan our server was so sweet and attentive. Plates were hardy and delicious. We maybe had 5 bites and took the rest as left overs. The drinks were the only thing that was ridiculously over priced and pushed us over $100. 1 small 8oz margarita was $15. Other than that we will be back again but just drinking ahead of time at a bar next door or something.

This place is absolutely a hidden gym! 10 across-the-board for every thing. The food, the service and the atmosphere was great! I loved that there were at least six specials and they all sounded absolutely delicious. I had the soft-shell crab, and my husband had the lamb chops. For appetizers we had the shrimp and the oysters. Everything was absolutely flavorful, even the bread was delicious. I didn’t know what drink I wanted so the bartender made me some type of mango cosmopolitan. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely going back to this place just to try all of the specials and get to the menu I would definitely recommend this place to friends. Also, the price was very inexpensive for a great meal with quality food.

Quite possibly the best restaurant in all of Louisiana. Seriously. I didn’t want to stop eating. The fish was so delicious! The white chocolate bread pudding was heaven sent!!! I highly recommend this place! The staff was the best!!

This is a hidden gem! One of Tulane students told us about the restaurant and we are glad we went! The food was out of this world! Service was bar none and the atmosphere was excellent! I am already making plans to return! You must check this restaurant out! It’s not close to the touristy part of town but once you get there you’ll be glad you did!

I stopped in with my daughter after a Tulane game and had a nicely prepared pompano with crabmeat. Service was warm and efficient. The menu is creole classics with some Greek dishes. My daughters’s Greek salad and black bean soup were very good. The vibe is uptown white tablecloth dining among regulars all greeting one another.

I can’t begin to explain the unrealistic service today. This place was swamped with customers and one server took care of the entire front room. It was amazing, food came out hot and the beverages never ran dry. I don’t know how he did it, but he did. Now, for the food, wow. The soft shell crab was insane delicious. It’s salty flavor smashed perfectly with the crawfish cream sauce over the linguine. Extraordinary flavor profile un that dish. The eggplant cake was remarkable. Full bar and plenty of beer options.

Disappointing experience. The food was great, but the service was almost non-existent. We sat on the patio for a quieter meal and were forgotten after our food arrived—I even had to go inside to ask for a drink refill. If you offer patio dining, guests should receive the same service as those inside. And with their price point I expected more.
